Born Pretty Store: Water Decals

Happy Monday! It's the start of yet another week but also the last day in March so I wanted to make sure to post something today. So what better way to close out the month then to share something new?! Water decals have been a trend that I haven't experienced but was looking forward to trying. Luckily Born Pretty Store has a pretty good selection of water decals and this is the one I ended up picking out this month:

These colorful feather eyes (item #6733) are absolutely gorgeous aren't they? The application is so easy that anyone can do it in just about ten minutes if not less. I admit I'm a slowpoke at things so you guys can probably end up doing it under ten minutes.

Born Pretty Store sells a pack which contains 10 decals, so basically good for one full manicure, for $1.39. You don't have to use them all at once if you don't want to. You can certainly use one as an accent nail or place a decal on every other nail. Either way I think it's pretty good for the price, especially if you're like me and don't keep a mani on for long.

I'd admit it was tough to want to take this off after getting so many compliments all weekend long on them.

For these photos, I used a couple of coats of white polish as the base color. After your nails are completely dry you can start applying the water decals. Set a cup of warm water next to you so that you can work quickly and easily. Cut out the selected decal with a pair of scissors, make sure you cut it as close as you can to the design. Dunk the decal into the warm water for about 10-15 seconds then make sure to wet your nail as well. All you have to do now is 'slide' the design onto your nail. Once you have the decal in place, simply seal it in with a fast-drying topcoat.

Like I said before, I absolutely love these water decals. I had no prior experience in using these beforehand but were super simple to apply as I described. I definitely plan on picking up a few more.

You can purchase these colorful eye feather decals (item #6733) from the Born Pretty Store for $1.39. Don't forget to use my coupon code ROHG10 and you'll receive 10% off and free shipping worldwide.
