Nail Art Challenge: Garden

Hiya guys! Yay for the weekend, but this means my week off from work is officially over. Not looking forward to Monday that's for sure. Don't want to think about that nonsense now, I have two stress-free days ahead of me. Unfortunately for me I have still been feeling less than stellar so motivation to do my nails is at a all time low. It sucks but I do know I'll get over it in a few days. Good thing I have you guys to make me smile. Seriously, all your comments on my last mani made my day. Thank you.

Today I'm sharing with you guys the last theme for Challenge Your Nail Art: Garden. This month had some seriously awesome themes and this is the one I was most excited about. Here's what I came up with:

Stamping Success! You guys have no idea how freaking excited I was with the way this came out. Stamping is always hit or miss with me, but I'd like to think of these as a big hit. There may have been a happy pelvic thrust after I took some photos and a lot of bouncing around the house.

Polishes Used:
I would normally add a topcoat but I was really afraid it would end up smearing the stamping, haha. So no topcoat was added to this design. Pearl Up by Sally Hansen* is a new polish for their Xtreme line that is a flipping gorgeous nude shade. I'll have a swatch post this week that will include this polish, and a few others, if you guys are interested.

*Pearl Up by Sally Hansen was a product offered for review.

I'm really glad I was able to join in on the challenges this month. The themes were perfect and I got to break out and use some untried polishes. I never wanna take this design off but I have to get some more stamping practice in, right? Maybe after I get some sleep since it's 5am right now. Insomnia slays me. Anyway hope you guys have a fantastic weekend!

  3. I've been eyeing those Konad colors. Right now, I only have their black and white. That pink is gorgeous and I love it over white. Overall, this many is super lovely!

  9. Gorgeous stamping! I hate it when they smear, too! Gently floating the topcoat on is the best way I've found to avoid smearing, but sometimes I'm just too clumsy and I mess it up anyway!
