Zoya Naturel Deux (2) Fall Collection Swatches

Greetings guys! It's Monday and I'm enjoying the day off by spend some time with Mom. It's her birthday tomorrow so I'm trying to just liven things up around me. She made me swear not to tell anyone what her age is haha. Here's hoping she let's me do her nails for tomorrow but I highly doubt she will. I totally did not get this passion from her. It's already August so Fall is right over the horizon. Summer collections have been great this year but I'm ready for some toned-down colors right about now. Good thing Zoya is leading the pack! Today I'm sharing their release of their Natural Deux Collection for the Fall. This collection consists of three plum based shades and three brown based shades.

Zoya Naturel Deux (2) Fall Collection

Let's take a closer look at these creme beauties.

Zoya Emilia

Emilia is a dark chocolate brown full-coverage creme. Can you guys believe I didn't own a dark brown polish before this point? Yeah, I'll hang my head in shame now. This dark chocolate brown is THE color you want to have for the Fall season. Swatched over a clear base coat, used two thin coats, and sealed with a fast drying topcoat. Emilia is opaque in a single coat, however, you'll want to add a second for a smoother look. Excellent formula, no streaking and no trouble with the consistency.

Zoya Emilia

Zoya Spencer

Spencer is a caramel cream full-coverage creme. I absolutely love this very warm toned shade. It blends well with my skin-tone without clashing, if that makes sense. Very classy and sophisticated. I imagine myself wearing this shade quite often for work (I work in an business office type of setting). Swatched over a clear base coat, used three thin coats, and sealed with a fast drying topcoat. Formula was not bad, but not as good as the others in this collection. I experienced some streaking between the first and second coat, however, a third thin coat was able to smooth it out nicely.

Zoya Chanelle

Chanelle is a toasted almond full-coverage creme. This is a great in-between nude of the previous two colors. I don't know why but it reminds me of like a latte or it makes me want to drink a latte. I haven't decided which but I will be driving to Starbucks shortly. Swatched over a clear base coat, used two thin coats, and sealed with a fast drying topcoat. The formula was good and gave me no trouble whatsoever. I do have to say that I should of probably added a third layer for an overall smoother look.

Zoya Chanelle

Zoya Madeline

Madeline is a muted rose full-coverage creme. This is the first one from the plum side of this collection and the lighter one the three as well. It's not a particularly jaw-dropping but it is still a very pretty shade. Swatched over a clear base coat, used two thin coats, and sealed with a fast drying topcoat. Good formula, no streaking at all.

Zoya Madeline

Zoya Aubrey

Aubrey is a medium mauve full-coverage creme. I have to say this one right-here is hands down a favorite (not THE favorite though). Love the shade! It's vibrant enough to remind of the fading summer days while still keeping me chic for the Fall. I've already created an outfit of the day centered around this polish, haha. Swatched over a clear base coat, used two thin coats, and sealed with a fast drying topcoat. Excellent formula, extremely opaque in a single coat. I definitely suggest adding the second thin layer for a fuller smooth finish. Seal this beauty with a glossy topcoat and you are ready to rock the town.

Zoya Aubrey

Zoya Marney

Marney is a deep warm plum full-coverage creme. Dreamy is the only word I can come up with to describe this polish. I feel like I should have a clip of some magical sounds while you look at this polish or something. Hands down my favorite in the entire collection and my Fall must-have. Swatched over a clear base coat, used two thin coats, and sealed with a fast drying topcoat. Formula is great and gave me no trouble applying. Definitely apply just two thin coats and you'll have a fully opaque mani. It has a great shiny finish on it's own but I do love adding a topcoat to enhance the shine.

Zoya Marney

Overall I have to go with the plums over the browns for this collection. Don't get me wrong though. The brown shades are great additions to my collection and I desperately needed some of that color variation. The plums just all together have the spice that I love in my polish selections (especially Marney). What can I say, I'm a bit saucy. As I mentioned before, I'm really lacking in the neutral shade department so these were great additions for me to get. I really like the darker undertones for the Fall season and the lighter ones to help us ease away from Summer. Formulas were all around, as expected for the brand, very good and gave me no major issues.

The Naturel Deux (2) Fall Collection by Zoya is now available for purchase on their website. Each bottles retails for $9.00 and the entire set can be yours for $54.00 (plus shipping and handling).

So tell me guys, which one is your favorite?
