Little Miss Lacquer - Fall Releases

Hiya guys. I hope everyone is having a great Labor day weekend and possibly day off from work today. While I may be enjoying my day off today, I definitely will not be enjoying work tomorrow. Or for the rest of the month to be honest. I've decided to create a bit of a schedule for Manicured and Marvelous, from now on you guys can expect new review posts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays will be a nail art post and all posts will be live at 5PM Eastern Time. I'll test this out for the month and see how you guys like it. Anyway let's get into today's awesome review post. Today I'll be introducing a brand new indie to the block Little Miss Lacquer! Created by the fabulous Catherine (also known as Totally Cool Nails on YouTube), Little Miss Lacquer has some beautiful five-free polishes available in her shop for the Fall season.

Little Miss Lacquer's shop already has her 6-piece Fall collection available for purchase. Now let's take a closer look at these gorgeous color-shifting polishes.

In an effort to save some time, I'll only be doing brief descriptions for each polish since their application and formula are very similar. All six of these polishes have pretty good consistency, however, you do have to be careful with your brush strokes. The opacity is very impressive for these polishes as they are almost fully opaque with one coat. For these swatches, I used two thin coats for a full finish and sealed with a shiny topcoat.

Sun Glazer is a shimmery orange chameleon polish that in different angles and lighting will reflect orange, yellow, and pink. Out of this whole collection, this one is definitely my top-pick. I love the reflection of a sunset when the colors shift.

Glacier is an icy blue chameleon polish that in different angles and lighting will reflect blue, purple, pink, and orange. This icy beauty has a most shimmering finish out of them all and because of that you have to be extremely careful with your brush strokes.

Mystic is a forest green chameleon polish that in different angles and lighting will reflect blue, green, and red.

Storm is a shimmery pink chameleon polish that in different angles and lighting will reflect purple, pink and orange. My least favorite among the collection, the color shifting in the light was difficult to notice.

Blaze is a red/orange chameleon polish that in different angles and lighting will reflect pink, orange, and yellow. Very similar to Storm at first glance, however, the color shifting in this one is much more noticeable.

Aurora is a shimmery purple chameleon polish that in different angles and lighting will reflect purple, blue, yellow, and pink.

Overall I'm completely loving this color shifting collection! The most pleasing aspect was not only the formula, but the opacity in a single coat. I'm really tempted to try these out with stamping because of how opaque they are. My only complaint is that the polishes, with the exception of one or two, tend to look extremely similar in the bottle. So much that I had a really hard time telling them a part haha. But once the colors are on your nails, it becomes very easy to tell which is what.

If you're not already, make sure you are following Little Miss Lacquer for newest release, stock info, and sales. If this collection is any indication, I foresee a lot of great collections from this new indie the near future.
