Sincerely Polish - Once Upon an Enchanted Night

Hi guys! I wish I could tell you all in detail about the crappy doctors visit on Friday. Here I was thinking how awesome it was to take the first step into feeling better. Except it wasn't a step at all to be honest. I was there for almost two hours and he saw me for all of ten minutes. Sigh. It's fine and I'll be okay eventually. Depression is still hitting pretty hard, but the hubs and friends are helping. And then, of course, there is the polish. I picked up a few new ones this weekend I'm excited to try out and have a bunch of design ideas I wanted to make happen very soon. In the meantime, I have a bunch of beautiful polishes to show you all this week. Today I'll be sharing the Cinderella inspired collection by Sincerely Polish called Once Upon an Enchanted Night. Another Disney classic!

Sincerely Polish - Once Upon an Enchanted Night

Currently the Sincerely Polish shop is closed while Karen is away on vacation, however, upon reopening this will be one of a couple new collections being released. Once Upon an Enchanted Night by Sincerely Polish will be releasing on Friday October 10th.

Sincerely Polish: So This is Love

So This is Love is a white crelly filled with baby blue and white glitters and hearts. Definitely one of my favorites, I'm always a fan of the crellys that Karen makes. The color and glitter combination give this polish a very soft feel. Although not inspired by the holidays, I think it'll look lovely around Christmas time. Excellent formula and consistency, no issues with the application. The heart glitters didn't give me any issues with fishing, which was pleasantly surprising. I used three thin coats and sealed it off with a topcoat.

Sincerely Polish: Midnight Rendezvous

Midnight Rendezvous is a black jelly filled with shifting rainbow hexes, purple/blue iridescent hexes and various holo hexes. Maybe it's because I have all these holidays on the brain, but this definitely reminds me a kind of witchy Halloween polish. Well... midnight is the witching hour after all, haha. I used three thin coats to achieve full opacity and sealed with a glossy topcoat. While the formula didn't give me any trouble, you'll definitely want to apply it with a bit of the dabbling method.

Sincerely Polish: Cinderelly

Cinderelly is a pearly baby blue with silver holographic dust. I really wanted to love this polish, the shade is absolutely gorgeous. Personally, however, the pearl finish doesn't suit me very well. Perhaps that's just my paranoid-self though because I did receive a lot of commitments on it. Formula was a little bit on the thick side, but definitely not unworkable. You have to be very careful with the brush strokes with this polish, because rough strokes are very noticeable. I used two thin coats and, after allowing some drying time, I applied a glossy topcoat.

Sincerely Polish: Perfect Fit

Perfect Fit is a gorgeous pearl white polish. Time to feel fancy ladies. There is definitely something to be said about a simple white pearl polish. It's a classic and a must-have for any polish addicts collection. The formula for this one was much better than Cinderelly and didn't have any thickness issues. I swatched this using three thin coats for a full finish and sealed it with a topcoat. It slightly dries to a matte-ish finish that looks equally as beautiful and kind of gives it that frosty look.

Sincerely Polish: Bibbidi Bobbidi Blue

Bibbidi Bobbidi Blue is glitter bomb topper filled with silver holo glitters and blue holo glitters in different shades. Glitter explosion! This one is definitely one of my top picks from this collection and a must-have for glitter lovers. You definitely don't need a base underneath, as this is a full coverage glitter polish. Because of the heavy glitters you do have to be careful with your application process and slightly use the dabbing method. I used three coats with the dabbing method and sealed in the glitter heaven with a glossy topcoat.

Sincerely Polish: Wicked Stepmother

Wicked Stepmother is red wine jelly filled with emerald green hexes, holo green dots and holo dust. I absolutely love the combination of shade to glitter. Normally this would be my must-have, but it is with flaw unfortunately. I had to add a bit of thinner in order to be able to smoothly apply it and even then it gave me a bit of trouble. This was a very early batch and the release batch should have a much smoother formula. I used three thin coats using the dabbing method and sealed it with a glossy topcoat.

Sincerely Polish: Wicked Stepmother

Overall this is yet another successful collection from Karen at Sincerely Polish that definitely brings back the memories. Having done Snow White a few months ago, I was really excited to see which princess tale she would be approaching next. One of the best parts about this collection is how well thought out each polish is so that it reminds us of different parts in the movie. The best representation is definitely Wicked Stepmother, you can practically envision the mean old hag haha. Formula wise was good for the most part, I mention the few kinks here and there but as I said none are unworkable. And I'm now more than a little anxious to see what fairy tale Sincerely Polish takes on next!

Once Upon an Enchanted Night by Sincerely Polish will be releasing on Friday October 10th. If you're not already, make sure you follow Sincerely Polish for latest stock information and new releases.
