Brooke Anderson for Gabriel Cosmetics

Hi guys! Hope you all have been having a fantastic day. I definitely did the whole over-sleeping thing again, but that's because I pulled another all-nighter. I think I ended up shutting off all the lights around 6 a.m. or something close to that. What can I say, time just flies when you're having fun with polish. Now if you recall, last month I shared a press release for the collaboration between Brooke Anderson and Gabriel Cosmetics. They teamed up to release a six-piece limited edition collection and today I will be sharing two polishes from that line. And like all of Gabriel Cosmetics, these polishes are the big five-free.

Brooke Anderson for Gabriel Cosmetics Darlin

Darlin' is a aqua, green, and blue glitter filled jelly in an emerald green base. Isn't the shade and glitter combination so... aquatic? It almost reminds me of like a mermaid or something. It's very stunning and these photos simply don't do it justice. It's a lot of glitter so it'll dry and almost looked textured, especially if you opt to skip the topcoat. The formula and consistency are pretty good, but it will require some dabbing in order to get a full coverage finish. That being said, the glitters are very easy to work with and require no fishing from the bottle whatsoever. For these swatches, I used three thin coats and sealed them off with a glossy topcoat.

I Do Declare is a shimmering dark gray creme polish. As I always say, our nail world needs a lot more gray polish and this one makes an exquisite addition. The micro glitters really make this otherwise simple color really pop and standout. I can definitely see myself using this as a base color for a lot of nail art in the future. Formula and consistency were pretty good, though I did find it a bit thicker than I personally care for. It is also heavily pigmented making it an easy one coater.

Overall from what these two polishes have to showcase, I'm impressed with the collaboration between Brooke Anderson and Gabriel Cosmetics. The line has some nice color variety and the ones I've shown here today have good easy-to-work with formulas. If you're collection is missing these shades, then I definitely recommend checking these out. My personal favorite has got to be 'Darlin' and I'll have to give it the 'must-have' seal of approval. I can't get over the ocean/mermaid feel it gives off. As I mentioned before, you can find Gabriel Cosmetics products available at health food stores and vegan boutiques near you. You can also make a purchase from them online at www.gabrielcosmeticsinc.com and each polish retails for $8.50.

So tell me guys, have you tried Gabriel Cosmetics before? If so which one is you favorite? Catch you later everyone.
