Musical Note Stamping

Hiya guys! It's nail art Thursday and... wait a minute.. holy cow it's Thursday already?! My week is going by entirely way too quickly and someone must put a stop to this before I have to go back to work. I guess I must not think of the torture that awaits me next week just yet though. Cause seriously guys, emo Rose is not fun whatsoever haha. For today I really wanted to get some challenge art done. Every month I'm participating in different challenges and prompts for nail art, but honestly never finish it completely. I want to change that so one of the challenges I'm participating in is the hashtag #randomnailartnov on Instagram (check out the hashtag to see all the manis and more info on the prompt). The Day 4 prompt was 'Instruments' and this is the mani I decided to create.

What do you guys think?

My main goal with this mani and challenge prompt was for me not to over-think it all. I tend to think about a design or a concept so hard that I end up psyching myself out and not trying anything at all. That's one of the main reasons I'm pushing my with this challenge month. Bottom line, getting up and doing something is better than just thinking about doing something no matter what.

I started out using my favorite white base from Sally Hansen. Then used Pipedream Polish's 'All In' and Rica's black stamping polish with a Cheeky stamping plate to create the index and pinky nails. My middle finger has OPI's 'This Gown Needs a Crown' and the ring finger has OPI's 'Get Your Number'. Super simple, but I'm loving the color combination of everything coming together.

Hope you guys like this as much as I do. I'll catch you all later this afternoon with some swatches and a new brand to review.
