12 Days of Christmas: Glitter

Hiya guys! I can't believe we barely have a week left before it's Christmas time. Just like every other year, I'll be shopping up till the very last minute. No matter how hard you try it feels like part of tradition at this point. The really exciting part for me is after the holidays having a nice week off from work to relax and nail it up. I have a lot of plans and ideas for the new year (as well as a buttload of giveaways and contests) so there's that for you guys to look forward to. Speaking of which, I'm still going strong with the prompts for the Challenge Your Nail Art group. Today's prompt is 'Glitter' and you best believe I had a blast making a mess, haha.

I wish these would of come out a little neater, but that's what I get for not using striping tape that often. I must have near a hundred sitting in a drawer all by themselves. I can almost hear them playing that sad Celine Dion song "All by Myself...". So with that sad song in mind, more striping tape mani's coming your way in 2015! ...Maybe, haha.

Here's the materials used to create this look:
  • Clear basecoat
  • Polishes: Julie G Gift of Gold, Crushed Candy, Sugar Plum Fairy
  • Striping Tape or Thin Straight Vinyls
  • Glossy Topcoat: Liquid Kandi's Get Wet Topcoat*
*this product will be reviewed later on this week

I normally don't macro my nail art, but I couldn't resist with all this texture and gradient cuteness. I definitely want to give this another try, but maybe with some dark colors. This design can be a little much to try and explain so I made a video. I normally would have it linked here, but my SD card is acting funky. I'm hoping it didn't get erased, but I'll keep you guys posted on that.

As always, here are the other fab ladies that have participated in today's prompt!
