31DC2015 - Day 1 - Follow A Tutorial

Hiya guys. Yikes, I almost didn't make it to post up the first prompt for two of the challenges I'm involved with for the month. First up, we have the awesome challenge created by Debbie for Crumpet's Nail Challenge on Facebook. I'm super excited to be able to participate once more since I haven't for months. This month in particular the group is doing the '31 Days' kind of challenge, so it's going to be quite the hectic schedule to maintain. Not only that one though, I'll also be doing the Random Nail Art Challenge on Instagram as well. Yes, I'm nuts for taking on so much. I live for the crazy... especially when it has to do with polish!

How do you like it? I love how the polka-dots came out. Usually I have a hard time with them because they end up smearing. Not this time though, woot!

Here's the materials used to create this look:
  • Polishes: Black Out by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear and Picture Polish's Peaches and Cream
  • Rhinestones from eBay
  • Dotting Tool
  • Big Shine Topcoat by Sally Hansen

For this mani, I decided to follow a tutorial by the lovely and talented LemmingsPolish on Instagram. I've been following her for quite some time and always wanted to try a mani of hers. Believe it or not, this is my first time doing a mani like this. Back in the day, I hated doing mani's with tape so I avoided them at all costs haha.

Check out the other ladies participating in today's prompt!
