Born Pretty Store - Cute Panda Decals

Hi everyone, it's the start of my first week as a mommy to a new puppy. It's definitely tough to manage with a newborn around, but I think I'm finally getting the hang of everything. If nothing else, I'm learning how to mange my time better and doing quick manis. Let me just say, for a girl with not a lot of time, water decals are absolutely a godsend. I have done multiple reviews on the decals for Born Pretty Store in the past and you can always look those up by typing 'Born Pretty Store' in the search box. For today, I have adorable little panda water decals, which are item #6202 in the shop.

Did I not say they were adorable?! Haha. I love these so much and I can't believe it took me so long to use them. Good thing they are perfect all year round. Remember guys, I do have a coupon code ROHG10 so that you receive 10% your purchases from Born Pretty Store.

This is what the little packaging looks like. As I mentioned, I have done quite a few reviews on decals before but the ones in this packaging are usually my favorite.

In total the package comes with 16 water decals, which gives you at least one full set mani. Personally, I like the decals better as a accent nail or two. Subsequently, using it this way would also give you more use out of one package.

I started off using the soon to be released 'April' from CDB Lacquer and sponged on Mermaid Tears by Fancy Gloss. After sealing that off with Seche Vite topcoat, I started to apply the water decals. The decals themselves are very easy to apply on the nails.
  • Wait until your base color or design is completely dry.
  • Cut out the decals you want to use a pair of scissors.
  • Using a pair of tweezers, dip the decal into water for less than a minute.
  • Use the pair of tweezers to peel off the decal from the paper.
  • Place the decal onto your nail as you wish and seal it in with a fast-drying topcoat.

I didn't experience any issues applying the decals and was able to have a beautiful mani within ten to fifteen minutes. These particular decals don't 'stick' per say onto your nail, so you'll have to use a topcoat to secure them. I plan on making a video showing how I apply them soon so let me know if you'd like to see that.

You can find these water decals in the Born Pretty Store - Item 6202 for $2.86 a pack. If you use my code ROHG10 you'll receive 10% off your purchase and as always free shipping. Shipping will take 3-6 weeks. I'm a huge shopper of items from overseas vendors, so I'm used to the long shipping times. It's always totally worth the wait!

  16. I've never tried nail decals before. But it kind of reminds me of the temporary tattoos I did as a kid.
