Lollipop Posse Lacquer - Dancing Girl Collection

Hiya guys. This week cannot seriously drag on any slower than it already has been. But I have been making due watching my newest obsession, Orange is the New Black. I feel like I have been under a rock or something. My plans this weekend include watching season three while swatching up a storm. So for today I'm sharing swatches from the fabulous Lollipop Posse Lacquer and her Dancing Girl Collection. I'll be covering the glitter duo and half of the neon shimmer combo.

Lollipop Posse Lacquer - Dancing Girl Collection

The Dancing Girl Glitter Duo by Lollipop Posse Lacquer is available for $17.00. The Dancing Girl Neon Shimmers foursome is available for $32.00. Each of the polishes are also available for individual sale for $9.50.

Somebody Leave the Light On can be described as a sunshine-yellow crelly with prominent copper shimmer and pin-pricks of holo light shining through. It's not often yellow shades compliment my skin tone so I was pleased with how this one suited me. Formula was a little on the thick side, but manageable and self-leveled well on the second coat. If you use a white undie then you can get away with less coats and it will also let the neon undertones come to life. Swatched in three coats and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

Shock Me Sane can be described as a fluorescent magenta crelly with a mixture of blue and aqua flecks, and a fine dusting of micro holo shimmer. So much brighter in person and this is without the use of an undie! Very neon and is also black-light reactive. The formula has a similar consistency as Somebody Leave the Light On and applies a little thick. However, it's definitely manageable and doesn't interfere with the smooth finish. Swatched in two coats and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

Comatose State can be described as a turquoise crelly with pink glass flecks and matte, neon pink hex and square glitters. Definitely my favorite one among the four I am showing you guys today. Must have for the summer! The formula is fantastic, applies really easily, and doesn't have any need to fish for glitters. Swatched in two coats and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

Boys Can't Be Men can be described as a bright pink crelly with aqua shimmer and matte blue triangle, square, and hex glitters. I adore this crelly on so many different levels. I had seen it for months and had fallen in love from the moment I saw it. It totally reminds me of the 80s! Formula was really good with the consistency being not thick or too thin. The glitters in this are plentiful and apply fantastic without clumping. Swatched in two coats and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

Overall I am very impressed with the formulas and shades from Lollipop Posse Lacquer. This is a relatively new indie on the scene so I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but I am beyond blown away with the crelly duo. I love how unique the color combinations feel! The shimmers were also so lovely in application,, but I can see them being dupes in the summer of neons. After these polishes, I am personally really looking forward to what the future holds for this indie. Have you guys tried out Lollipop Posse Lacquer yet?
