Lady Queen - Mixed Rhinestone Wheel

Hiya guys! It's officially Spring Break this week and I'm super excited to just get some rest. I have been at war with a crazy migraine for the last two weeks and it's mostly a losing battle right now. Usually I just polish away to cheer myself up, but a recent nail filing fail is making me stay far away from my mani cave. Thankfully I do have some reviews and manis I haven't posted yet so I don't have to worry too much about it. Now the manicure I am sharing with you guys today features some beautiful rhinestones from Lady Queen. As soon as I received this wheel I knew exactly what I wanted to try. Yup, a fully blinged out accent nail!

Lady Queen - Mixed Rhinestone Wheel

Can you believe I've never done an accent nail like this before? I feel like I need to go on a rhinestone shopping spree or something now and stock up on all different kinds. I know this kind of look can be a bit much though and it's not something everyone would rock... get it... gem... rock... I'll see myself out now.

This rhinestone wheel is listed as item #NA0278 on the Lady Queen website and retails for $2.98 on sale. Without the sale these would be priced at $3.98, which is still decently priced for the amount you're receiving. Each wheel contains 300 rhinestone in various sizes. The different sizing is definitely the selling point for me because not every mani I do needs the same size gem. Sometimes I like using a single small one as a finishing touch or sometimes I like using a few to create a shape. Either way this one wheel has you covered in terms of sizing variety.

For a first attempt at a full rhinestone coverage nail this ended up being much easier then I thought it would be. Since this was going to be a short-term wear mani for myself, I ended up using a peel-off base coat and sticking the gems on with topcoat. There is no video tutorial for it, but I can definitely post one if that's something you'd like to see. Here are all the items I used to create this mani:

  1. I love what you did with the rhinestones. Did you leave this on as a mani or immediately take it off. I'm curious how they wore.
