Ellison's Organics - Path to Greytness & No Butter Friend Swatches

Hiya guys! The week is definitely feeling like a drag, but that's probably because I am back to work after a week off. I sound like such a brat, haha. I literally just rested all week and I'm already thinking of a way to call out of work. But come on,  there is a mani cave waiting for me. I know my polish girls understand XD. Anyway today I am sharing some new(ish) cream shades from Ellison's Organics that were released last month. Spoiler alert guys, these beautiful shades are stamp friendly! If you're a stamp-aholic like me then be prepared to get excited.

No Butter Friend can be described as a soft yellow cream. Normally I don't even like yellow polishes at all, but there is always an exception and this is it. I have been reaching for this beauty so often for nail art and stamping. Especially for this time of year, it's definitely the quintessential spring yellow shade. The formula was really opaque, but I did feel it needed at least a thin second coat to get a full coverage. Great consistency, not too thick or too thin. Shown here is two coats and sealed with a topcoat.

Path to Greytness can be described as a dark grey cream. So freaking lush. I have always thought grey to be one of the most unrated shades. Look at your collection, bet you have like two greys and like twenty 'greens', haha. The formula has such a smooth flawless application. And yup, it's a one coat wonder and I am in love. Shown here in one coat and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

As I mentioned before... both of these creams stamp and do it really well too!

Overall I am so excited to see this indie branch out into the cream finish world, especially because these stamp! Finding polishes that stamp is such a difficult venture, so believe me I was beyond ecstatic to receive these. Of course, now all I want is to see more shades with this great formula. Definitely recommend both of these, more so if you're into stamping and looking to add to your collection.

To recap, Path to Greytness & No Butter Friend by Ellison's Organics are both currently available for purchase. Each full-size bottle (15mL) retails for $12.00.

  4. These are both gorgeous-- I love how buttery and smooth the yellow looks. Plus, they work so well together! I used to think it was odd to pair yellow and grey together but now it's one of my favorite combos!
