Colores de Carol - Spring 2016 Holographics

Hiya guys! It's the week of a lot of indie swatching because as I mentioned earlier I have a lot of catching up to do from being sick. But I know you all won't mind because most of you are indie-polish lovers like I am! So for today I'm sharing some swatches for the Spring holographics from Colores de Carol that released last month. I've been so anxious to share these with you guys, so let's go ahead and get started.

These four Spring holographics from Colores de Carol are up on the site and available for purchase. Each full-size bottle retails for $11.00 each, but you can receive 10% off if you use my coupon code MMARVELOUS. The code is applicable to any order!

Colores de Carol - Mizar

Mizar can be described as a lime green linear holographic with green shimmer in it. Don't you just love this shade? It's such a rich tone and the holo finish really reflections well against it. The formula has a smooth application and is one of the more opaque colors in this set. Shown here in two coats and topcoat.

Colores de Carol - Antares

Antares can be described as a taupe brownish nude linear holographic with gold shimmer in it. Definitely the most unique shade out of the bunch, I am so in love with the earthy tone this has going on. It's also a very work office friendly color so that's always a plus for me. Again smooth formula and application with this one. I ended up opting for slightly thicker coats, but I could see this one needing a third if you use a light hand. Shown here in two coats and topcoat.

Colores de Carol - Gemma

Gemma can be described as a light violet linear holographic with violet shimmer to it and micro silver holo hex glitter. Another favorite of mine, I actually ended up wearing this beauty for a whole week with no chips. That's so rare for me, but seeing as I was sick I didn't remove it after swatching. I received so many compliments on it especially while out in the sun. The holo finish is most noted with this shade as you can see in these indoor shots. Once again, smooth application and formula. Although it's has a really sheer consistency and will take a few coats to build up. Shown here in three coats and topcoat.

Colores de Carol - Vega

Vega can be described as a sky blue linear holographic with a subtle iridescent blue shimmer to it and fine silver holographic dust. Shown here in two coats and topcoat.

Overall these have a a great formula and look like a slice of heaven! Especially if you are in direct sunlight, I mean really my photos don't do any justice to the holo finish. My top-picks for must have polishes are... all of them! No trolling here guys, haha. These are all really beautiful and well done polishes. Especially Antares because that's such a unique shade, I really don't have anything even close to it in my collection. But what do you guys think? Which one is your favorite and have you had a chance to pick any of these up yet?
