Glam Polish - It’s Only A Dream Alice Collection (Partial)

Hiya guys! I hope everyone is having a relaxing day, well as relaxed as a Monday can be. Today I'll be sharing some of the shades in the upcoming It’s Only A Dream Alice Collection by Glam Polish. I've been anxious to share these for the past week. Not only do these take inspiration from one of my favorite stories, but the shades are drop-dead gorgeous. In this post I'll be showing four of the nine shades, so after you're done here I highly recommend heading over to Glam's social media for a look at the others.

The It’s Only A Dream Alice Collection by Glam Polish will be releasing on Friday June 3rd, 2pm EST. Shipping rates to USA are $3.80 USD for the first polish and an extra $1.00 for each additional polish.

If you are a subscriber of my YouTube channel then you might have already seen the video swatches I posted late last week. This is something I'll be sharing more of as collections come in, because it's a great way to see the colors rather than just a photo.

Glam Polish -  A Place Called Wonderland

A Place Called Wonderland can be described as a bright pink subtle holographic base with holo violet, lavender, bright pink, and neon pink micro glitter with shimmering glass flecks. Whenever I go for a pink shade this is exactly what I love to wear. Something bright and full of sparkle! The application has great coverage on the first coat, but it will need an additional one for an opaque finish. Shown in two coats and topcoat.

Glam Polish - You’re Entirely Bonkers

You’re Entirely Bonkers can be described as a subtle holographic base with iridescent glitter, pink, purple green transparent glitter, shimmer blue and purple glass flecks. One of the more diverse polishes in this collection, this beauty can also be layered over a solid base colors for some stunning looks. The formula is pretty sheer on the first coat, but does build up nicely with an additional. Depending on your method of application, you could get away with two coats, but on some nails I had a visible nail line and added a third. There is also minimal dabbing needed for the glitters to spread out on the nail. Shown here in two-three coats plus a glossy topcoat.

Glam Polish - The Wrong Alice

The Wrong Alice can be described as a bright aqua blue subtle holographic base with ocean holo, sky blue holo, neon blue,  silver holo and ultra holo glitter with shimmering glass flecks. Hands down my favorite from the four here and the entire collection. I'm a complete sucker for aqua and with glitter involved it's impossible not to fall in love. The formula has a sheer first coat, but builds up perfectly with a thin second. The application is smooth despite the glitter heavy consistency although it does dry to a gritty/textured finish. Shown here in two coats and a glossy topcoat.

Glam Polish - A Crazy Mad Wonderful Idea

A Crazy Mad Wonderful Idea can be described as a bright purple subtle holographic base with violet holo, bright pink holo, neon pink, and ultra holo glitter with shimmering glass flecks. The formula is very opaque on the first coat and has great glitter coverage. The consistency ends up feeling a bit thicker than the others, likely due to the heavy amounts of glitters, but still has a manageable application. Again the finish ends up drying textured, and in this case I preferred using two layers of topcoat. Shown here in two coats plus topcoat.

Overall if nothing else these four definitely have made me want the remaining polishes in the collection. I've been a fan and customer of Glam Polish before this collection, so my expectations were high and they were met! Of course the release aligns perfectly with the just released movie Alice Through the Looking Glass, which I'm so excited to go see next weekend. Shhh, no spoilers haha. Anyway, all the polishes end up drying to a semi-textured finish due to the glitters and it's something I personally don't mind. I end up usually using thick topcoats (or sometimes two layers of topcoat) most of the time and in this case that's all it really ends up needing to smooth out.

To recap, the It’s Only A Dream Alice Collection by Glam Polish will be releasing on Friday June 3rd, 2pm EST. Shipping rates to USA are $3.80 USD for the first polish and an extra $1.00 for each additional polish.

  5. Beautiful macros! I was kind of hoping for less glitter this time around but might break down and get a few anyway.

  6. Amazing swatches! These polishes are GORGEOUS! I am a pink and purple lover, so those are naturally my favourites...the aqua though! I don't gravitate towards blues, but I would definitely pick that one up!
