Cupcake Polish - The Olympics Collection

Hiya guys! Hope you guys are having a fantastic day and if you're not well maybe some polish can bring a smile to your face. Any Olympic fans in the house? If so then I have quite the treat for you. I'll admit I usually end up just watching clips of it on YouTube, I'm not one for watching things live or on television. Regardless though I'm excited to share the upcoming latest release from Cupcake Polish called The Olympics Collection. Inspired by the Olympics, this is a six-piece holographic collection. Let's go ahead and get started!

Cupcake Polish - The Olympics Collection

The Olympics Collection by Cupcake Polish will be available for purchase July 10th at 12PM central. Each polish retails $13.00 per full-size bottle. The full six-piece collection can also be purchased for $78.00.

If you're already familiar with Cupcake Polish then you'll be happy to know that these formulas meet the standard entirely. Smooth and opaque applications throughout this collection, with some of them almost being one-coaters. The consistency runs on the thick side, but it's the kind of thick that allows for perfect manageable coats. I pretty much had no issues with any of the formulas. All my swatch photos are taken indoors inside a light box, hence the subtle holo effect.

Cupcake Polish - One in a Brazil-ion

One in a Brazil-ion can be described as a strawberry red holographic polish. I love the tone of this shade! I'm so glad Sara didn't do a typical classic red and instead went with this unique hue. I ended up wearing this one for an entire week and had no chipping. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Cupcake Polish - Pool It Together
Cupcake Polish - Pool It Together

Pool It Together can be described as a deep cerulean blue holographic polish. As I mentioned before, some of the shades are so opaque they are almost one coaters, this would also be one of those. And even though it's a highly pigmented blue, I'm happy to report I experienced no staining. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Cupcake Polish - Not My Vault
Cupcake Polish - Not My Vault

Not My Vault can be described as an orange creme based linear holographic polish. Another day, another orange that is out to make me change my views on shades entirely. This looks so gorgeous and it doesn't clash with my skintone in the slighest bit. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

I'm Soccer For Green can be described as a kelly green creme based linear holographic polish. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Cupcake Polish - Row Me to The Gold

Row Me to The Gold can be described as a canary yellow holographic polish. And this is another gorgeous hue, not quite yellow and not quite gold, it hits a perfect in-between. Not to mention I love the way it looks against my skintone. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Cupcake Polish - Track Me Down

Track Me Down can be described as a black holographic polish. Okay guys... Can you believe this is my first black holo? Seriously! I really have no idea if black holos are common or not, but I don't feel that they are. Either way, this is vamp in a bottle! And the formula is really opaque, making this one another one of those almost one-coaters. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Overall this is a gorgeous collection and Cupcake Polish brings the holo game as always. I especially got such a huge kick from all the play on words with the names. So creative, major props to Sara for that. As for must-haves... well if you're a holo lover then I'd like to say all of these are must-haves. But my top picks would have to be One In A Brazil-ion and Row Me To The Gold. Both hit such a specific and unique hue to me! But tell me guys, which one is your favorite?

To recap, the Olympics Collection by Cupcake Polish will be available for purchase July 10th at 12PM central. Each polish retails $13.00 per full-size bottle. The full six-piece collection can also be purchased for $78.00.
