Lillian Eve - Before Sunrise & Nothing But Nude Swatches

Hiya guys! Are you guys excited for the big holiday weekend? I'm spending it with my family, really low-key PJ party style. I promise not to sit on the floor or do anything crazy to hurt myself, haha. I'm actually really excited to just be able to spend my holidays happy and semi-healthy. Good vibes all around. My only wish is that you guys get to experience the holidays surrounded in love and happiness too.

But that's more than enough of my babbling, it's time to talk polish. Today I'm sharing a few polishes and items from Lillian Eve. I'll be honest, I think this package was supposed to be sent out to me in August. I have no idea why it took as long as it did (I received the first shipping confirmation in August), but I didn't receive it until a few weeks ago. Weird shipping aside, I've been anxiously wanting to swatch and share these shades! Let's go ahead and get started.

Lillian Eve - Before Sunrise & Nothing But Nude Swatches

Each full-size (15mL) bottle retails for $12.00. The base coat also retails for $12 and the cuticle cream is on sale for $7 (down from $18). Unfortunately at the moment the base coat is sold out, but it will be restocked at a later date.

Lillian Eve - Base Coat

The swatches shown here have been used over this base coat and I have to say it did a relatively decent job. I don't have a lot of ridges on my nails, but there are some. Even though this base coat is not designed to cover ridges, it did a good job covering mine.

Lillian Eve - Cuticle Cream

The cuticle cream is made from argan oil, sunflower oil, and botanical extracts. Lillian Eve’s Cuticle Cream is then lightly scented with lemongrass essential oil, which I surprisingly I ended up liking a lot. It wasn't like other lemongrass cuticle creams I've tried in the past, it's done really well so that it has quite the subtlety to it.

The cream itself is pretty good as well, I've been using it every night for two weeks. A little goes a long way, so you definitely don't want to over-apply it because it will look greasy. It's also quite a thick cream, so I found it best to use it before bed or before going out (especially since it's really cold out). Definitely recommend it was a routine cuticle cream, but not as a before swatching cream.

To recap, each full-size (15mL) bottle retails for $12.00. The base coat also retails for $12 and the cuticle cream is on sale for $7 (down from $18). Unfortunately at the moment the base coat is sold out, but it will be restocked at a later date.
