Hiya guys! I'm back... again. The nail gods must hate me because in the last two weeks not only did my camera break, but my index nail broke off. Hence the shorter length. It's such a trivial thing to be upset about, but the shorter length has been the single-handed killer of my motivation. Hopefully you guys don't mind the change as much as I do, haha. So today I'm sharing swatches for the Christmas Carols Collection by Nail Hoot. I know we're a little past the holiday season, but I am still catching up from being sick. Luckily the shades in this collection work so perfectly year round, especially if you're a fan of shimmer. Let's get to the swatches!

Away in a Manger can be described as a beautiful baby blue polish with pink and aqua shimmers. Starting off this collection with a gorgeous blue - because really these are the kind of shades I live for! It's vibrant while having a frosty feel to the finish. Not something I usually go for, but it just works so well here with the color and shimmer.
The formula has a sheer application with a smooth layering build-up. It has a very shimmery, frost-like, finish. There are minimal brush strokes visible on the finish, but most smooth out perfectly after topcoat. Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
O Come All Ye Faithful can be described as a very light pink, almost champagne-toned polish with pink and golden highlights. I was so surprised by how much I ended up loving this shade. It has such a regal and posh tone to the hue. Definitely a unique color in my collection.
The formula has a sheer application, but ended up building up much better than I anticipated. Even though I tend to have a light hand, the second coat provides enough coverage for an opaque finish. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Joy to the World can be described as a lovely shade of green that's a mix between sea foam and granny apple with pink shimmer throughout. What holiday collection is complete without a little green, eh? It has that frosty undertone like Away in a Manger, which really fits the winter/holiday vibe. Although to be honest from the second I saw this color all I could think about was Spring. It'd be perfect for an Easter mani!

Angels we have Heard on High can be described as a gorgeous red toned purple with gold shimmers. Very highly pigmented with shimmer! The gold shimmer really compliments the tone of the base and brings a very regal feel to the shade. I wish I could have captured it better!
The formula has an opaque and smooth application for layering. Very minimal brush strokes are visible in the finish. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
O Holy Night can be described as a stunning deep blue polish that shifts to purple. Contains extremely fine holo micro-glitters. Not only my favorite from this collection, but one of my favorite polishes from Nail Hoot ever. From the richness of the shade to the shifting of the colors, it's perfection!
The formula has a very opaque application compared to the rest of the shades in this collection. It has a great consistency as well, not too thick or too thin. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Overall I adore this collection, way more than I thought I would. Strong shimmers aren't usually my thing, but these are so beautifully done. Upon the initial release I thought these were so unique and eye-catching for a Christmas collection. But these all work so well year round, especially for the Spring time. If I have to pick a must-have shade, then it is hands down O Holy Night. It's so much more gorgeous in person!
