Dreamland Lacquer - Power Ballads: Valentine's Collection 2017

Hiya guys! This week is dragging by, isn't? To be fair I have anniversary plans tomorrow night so it may be my anxiety.  I'm going to dinner and a movie with the hubs to see Rings. Nothing says romance like scaring your pants off, haha. But love is definitely in the air as we count down to Valentine's Day. Today I'm sharing swatches for the glittery and gorgeous Power Ballads Collection by Dreamland Lacquer. Get ready to fall in love and let's get to the swatches!

Dreamland Lacquer - Power Ballads: Valentine's Collection 2017

The Power Ballads Collection by Dreamland Lacquer will be available for purchase in the upcoming weeks. I'll post an update once I have a definite date. Each full-size bottle will retail for $11.

Dreamland Lacquer - Alone
Dreamland Lacquer - Alone

Alone can be described as a deep burgundy jelly with holo micro-glitter and color shifting iridescent micro-glitter. What's love day without a little saucy red? I love how the bright red glitters bounce off the darker red base. Definitely adds to the to the overall sparkle whilst giving it some depth.

The formula has a sheer consistency as can be expected from a jelly. The application felt a little bit on the thick side, but that's also due to the multitude of glitters . It dries textured, but can be smoothed out by doubling up on the topcoat. Shown here in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

*Formula has since been thinned out for new batches and this should help with the application.

Dreamland Lacquer - Is This Love?

Is This Love? can be described as a white crelly with holo micro-glitter and color shifting iridescent micro-glitter. The iridescent glitters give the shade such an angelic and ethereal touch. They bounce off the white so much more than I was expecting them to.

The formula has a sheer and patchy initial application. It ends up building up well, but the consistency is on the thick side. I ended up adding a bit of thinner and it helped tremendously with the layering. It dries textured and will need a thick coat  of topcoat to smooth out. Shown here in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Dreamland Lacquer - Everything I Do

Everything I Do can be described as a bright pink jelly with holo micro-glitter. This is such a cute Barbie pink! Usually you guys know I'm not a fan of pink, but here I am loving it. And it should be noted that my photos do not do any justice to the holo finish. It is much more sparkly and gorgeous in real life under direct sunlight.

The formula has a bit of a sheer consistency, but has a good opacity for little layering. It has such a smooth application and overall fantastic coverage. It dries to a minimally gritty finish, but smooths out perfectly after topcoat. Shown here in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Dreamland Lacquer - The Search is Over

The Search is Over can be described as a warm pink/purple jelly with unicorn pee color shifting pigment. I'll give you a second to wipe away that drool, haha. Holy moly, this is love right here! And if it isn't obvious, this is a true must have! Especially if you don't own a unicorn pee based shade.

The formula has a sheer application, but can be layered easily for an opaque finish. Fantastic application and consistency, not too thick or too thin. Shown here in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
