Glam Polish - Fantastic Fandoms LE Fan Group Exclusives - September 2017

Hiya guys! Another polish frenzy day here whilst I enjoy the last of the summer. I'm actually very anxious for the Fall season and it may or may not have to do with pumpkin spice everything. I'll let you be the judge of that, haha. So for today I'm sharing swatches for the August Fantastic Fandoms LE Group Exclusives Glam Polish, which is inspired by the characters Jareth and Sarah from movie The Labyrinth. If you have never seen the movie, I highly suggest you stop right now and just go watch it. It's a serious cult classic and you will not be sorry. I mean David Bowie... need I say more? I think not, I mean I ended up watching the movie 3x in the last few weeks alone. Back in my aspiring actress days, I memorized every one of Sarah's lines for a play audition. Never did go though, too chicken lol. But that's fine because I get to relive the memories through these shades! But I'm babbling now and you must be getting anxious, so let's just get to the gorgeous polish!

Glam Polish - You Have No Power Over Me
Glam Polish - You Have No Power Over Me

You Have No Power Over Me can be described as a subtle holographic base with iridescent color shifting flakies, rainbow iridescent micro-glitter, ultra holo glitter and violet shimmer. I'm always on the fence when it comes to light shades like this because of fear that it might clash with my skin-tone. Thankfully this shade ended looking great against my complexion. It's definitely a lot more sparkly and holo than my photos could capture.

The formula has a sheer application, but does build up on its own for full coverage. It has a nice balanced consistency, not too thick or too thin. It ends up drying down to a textured finish, but smooths out perfectly after topcoat. The micro-glitters in this really seem to want to stick with you on removal, so I ended up having to wash my hands quite a few times to get them all off. Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Glam Polish - I Move The Stars For No One

I Move The Stars For No One can be described as a blackened indigo jelly with shifting iridescent flakies, shimmering micro-flakies, red/blue color shifting micro glitter and fine holo micro glitter. *Swoon* I feel like I am getting lost in a sea of indigo sparkle and shine while the Goblin King sings to me. Seriously I had to play the clip of the song over and over again as I swatched this. But it's not just the source of the inspiration that has me swooning, it's definitely the polish itself. It's everything a good jelly should be and more... I mean come on guys, look at how squishy it is!

The formula has a sheer initial application, but builds up so well for full opacity. The consistency leans a bit on the thin side, but it's perfectly manageable and easy to work with. Especially for a polish so jam-packed with flakies and glitter. It dries down to a textured finish and smooths out after topcoat. And despite the rich pigment of the indigo I didn't experience any staining on removal. Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Overall this is by far my favorite duo so far from the Fantastic Fandoms series. Usually one of the two ends up stealing the show, but this month before are absolutely stunning and bounce of each other so well. Maybe it has to do with my immense love for the Goblin King and the Labyrinth, but I can't help but feel these are truly must haves. It's clearly I am over the moon and stars for these two, but how about you? Will you be nabbing these or do I have to wish the Goblin King come take you away? Haha.
