Hiya guys! I'm at a point where I don't know if I'm feeling better or worse. This is quite the sticky flu bug and I can't seem to get rid of it for good. Sigh. But I'm still trying to soak up some beautiful sunshine... while getting together my wishlist for Polish Pickup. I hope you guys are ready to add another one to yours! For today I'm sharing swatches for Born and Raised by Lollipop Posse Lacquer, which is the May contribution to the Polish Pickup Collaboration. As I mentioned yesterday, this is the sister shade to Supermoon Lacquer's In West Philadelphia! There is no enabling needed on my end, this gorgeous polish can get on your wishlists on it's own. Without further ado, let's to the swatches!
Born and Raised by Lollipop Posse Lacquer will be available for purchase through the Polish Pickup Shop Friday, May 4th at 11AM EST through May 7th. The full-size 12mL shade will retail for $12.50 each and there is no cap this month.

90s Pop Culture. This month Karen found her inspiration thanks to Mardi (from Supermoon Lacquer) from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Based on the bright outfits and opening sequence/theme song of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air sitcom.
Lollipop Posse Lacquer - Born and Raised
Born and Raised can be described as a bright pink crelly that is packed with neon pink/blue shifting micro flakies, holographic micro pigment, blue/violet/pink/red shimmer, and iridescent blue flakies. I think... I'm drooling... No, I know for a fact I'm drooling haha. I'm already a sucker for anything shimmer, but this beauty is so much more and turn some. The color shift is phenomenal and photos really don't do it justice. I'm not one for pink, but when the color is this vibrant and fun... How can I resist?! The hue also happens to look stunning against my skin-tone, which isn't something that happens often with pink. By far one of my favorites this month and a true must-have.
The formula has a sheer application and feels more like a jelly finish to me. However it does build-up really nice and even for full coverage. Consistency wise it's well balanced, not too thick or too thin. Super easy layering and feels like a breeze to work with. It dries down to a minimal gritty finish that smooths out after topcoat. Now I did experience some staining on removal to my nail beds and none to my cuticles. The staining was well notable and required a few scrubbing sessions in order to clear up. Shown here in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
