Hiya guys! I'm back again with a little something different and yes you read that title correctly! I am back this month with a Polish Pick Up item to share with you and I couldn't be more excited about it. It has been months (years?) since I have done any press releases for Polish Pick Up and I have missed it. This post is doubly as exciting because it's not nail polish for once. Instead today I will be sharing photos for a gorgeous sterling silver midi ring from the brand R&P Jewelry. The theme for the month of December is 2020: Everything is FINE! like the meme of the house on fire and the dog sipping tea saying 'This is fine'. Brittany, the creator behind the brand, wanted to add a bit of simplicity back to 2020 as the year has been so rough for many. And I can't agree with that sentiment more. Simplicity in times of chaos helps to heal the mind and soul, it's something that we all desperately need. So with that said, let's get to the photos and see what's in store.

Fact: I am obsessed with midi rings and have been for years. Like even before they were a trend or before I even realized it was called a 'midi' ring. More so when it comes to wearing them for nail photos, it's like such a perfect touch to any kind of nail photography. So needless to say I was beyond ecstatic to see R&P Jewelry do a midi ring - especially one that comes in such a small (3) size like this one. I always have a really hard time finding midi rings that actually fit as intended because of my small and thin fingers. This fit spot-on and felt very light weight on my hand as well. I work a computer desk job during the day, so I am constantly typing or writing by hand all day. It was definitely nice to be able to wear a ring that didn't get in the way or restrict my finger movements. Most of the time I kept forgetting I was even wearing a ring, which freaked me out because I thought I lost it haha.

I highly recommend trying to score two of these rings (though it may be tough due to the cap) because the layered look is well a total look. The simple design of the ring allows it to be doubled-up easily - whether in a close stack or spaced out as you can see in my photos. It doesn't give the appearance of being cluttered and it doesn't bulk down your hands at all either. And the two rings compliment each other nicely to give the entire vibe a more elegant touch. You could also pair it with a much more extravagant ring without the entire look feeling cluttered or overbearing. This is one of those times where simplicity just works and you can't go wrong no matter what your particular style might be.

I probably have said it a million times at this point, but I LOVE buying/wearing/hoarding midi rings. My biggest problem is how easily I tend to lose them, haha. Seriously I will leave the house wearing four rings and end up at night coming home with only one. Most of the time losing them within the hour. I think it's because my fingers are so thin that they tend to just fly right on off without me noticing, haha. I will definitely be kicking myself if it happens with these though.
