Is it Spring Yet? Collection by Whooty Hoot Creations

 Purchased By Me

Hello guys, I hope you have all been doing well. Am I officially slacking on my swatches? Nah! I've just had too many things on my plate these past two weeks. But anyway, today I bring you the Is it Spring Yet? Collection by Whooty Hoot Creations. I was able to get this collection on sale a couple of weeks ago (the sale is definitely still going on) and have been meaning to swatch/review it. I love being able to support indie makers and bring you guys honest reviews at the same time.

There are four polishes in this Spring Collection and all of them are glitter toppers. Prepare yourselves for some drool-worthy swatches ladies!

Showers in the Springs is a glitter topper filled with yellow flowers, tiny yellow circles, pink hearts, and teal squares. Pictured as 3 coats over Bettina's Aqua and topped with a fast drying top coat. Please note, I found the application a bit on the thick side but used a thinner to resolve the issue.

Fern Baby Fern is a beauty that pops out with its medium-sized teal circles, shredded pink, tiny lime circles, and light purple heart glitters. Pictured over Sinful Colors: Amethyst in 2 coats and sealed with a fast drying topcoat. Smooth application and I was able to cover my entire nail with glitters in just 2 coats. Consider using this beauty with a dark undie as I feel it will make these lovely glitters stand out much more.

Garden This is filled with purple butterflies, hot pink floral, green shredded and tiny circle glitters. The glitter combination reminds me of a grass and flower scenery - making this polish have the perfect name. Very nice application and only a little trouble with glitter fishing (but very minimal). Pictured over Sinful Colors: Song of Summer and sealed with a fast drying topcoat.

Butterfly Kisses is filled with pink florals, yellow circles, light blue butterflies, light green shredded, and tiny pink circle glitters. Although the combination of glitters is lovely, the application for this polish gave me some trouble. Nail thinner to the rescue! Adding some thinner helped a lot though, but I still ran into a bit of 'goob'. I highly suggest using an undie that does not require more than 1-2 coats for opacity. For this swatch, I used 2% Milk by Wet and Wild as an undie and a fast drying topcoat.

Whooty Hoot Creations is definitely worth checking, especially since she has a fantastic sale going on right now. Go check out her page for details and availability! She also has a couple of other collections available on her website including a cute Halloween collection.
