Nailart: Flappy Bird

Happy Tuesday everyone. I always feel like Tuesday is the start of a new week because of World of Warcraft. Everything in the game resets in a weekly basis (i.e. raids) and after playing the game for so long it feels like that's when real life resets too. When does your week begin? I woke up this morning feeling absolutely dreadful, tired, and with terrible back pain. But it was all so worth it!

Without further ado... Flappy Bird Nails!

What do you guys think?

I worked on it last night for a little over an hour and a half. I'm a perfectionist so admit I probably spent more time on things I shouldn't have. Base coat used was It's So Blue by Stardust Polish and all the other colors are acrylic paint. Used a fast-drying topcoat by Jior Couture called Cover Me. Inspired by the Youtube tutorial master CutePolish.

The 'FB' stands for Flappy Bird since I'm not talented enough to even try and pull off writing the whole thing on any nail. Haha. I actually think this might be one of the first times I even manage to pull off freestyle letters period. High-five for me.

Close up shots:

I'm not going to do a step by step tutorial for this one because I have seen a couple of YouTube videos covering the basics already. I didn't follow anyone's tutorial down to the mark because I did want to try and add my own 'style' to it. I think that's an important thing to take away from anything you learn. I will definitely answer any questions you may have, just leave them down in the comments.

Anyways I hope you guys like the nailart and don't mind the short post. As always be sure to follow my instagram http://instagram.com/roselynn787 Till next time guys, xoxo.

  2. I have heard the big craze about this game and yet, haven't played it myself. But I think you did a great job on this. Even not reading the title, I could tell what it was so you did an awesome job on the details of it
