Hiya guys! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and had some fun. Today I'm sharing swatches for the September's NeverEnding Fairytales Duo from Fairytale Finish. This month the set is inspired by the creators 'Birthiversary'. Although this is normally a monthly subscription series, this will be the last subscription polishes as Fairytale Finish will be closing its doors. If you never had a chance to try out this brand, this is your last chance to do so. And on that note, let's get to the swatches.
The September NeverEnding Fairytales Duo from Fairytale Finish is now available for purchase. The full-size duo retails for $18.00 as a set and are not sold separately. There are only a handful of duos left in the shop before these are gone for good.
Make A Wish can be described as a deep plum full of flakes, shimmers, and micro glitters. Dark purples steal my heart every time! Especially if it's full of sparkle like this one. The formula has a nice balance of thickness to make the application very smooth and manageable. The coats are opaque, but do need some layering to get full coverage. It dries to a bit of a gritty finish so I applied two layers of topcoat to achieve a high-shine and smoothness. Shown here two coats plus double topcoat.
Party in Pink can be described as a bright pink full of micro glitters and sparks. This is so girly and fun, definitely makes me think Barbie. It's also one of those rare times where I really like the way pink looks against my skin-tone. The formula has a good consistency, not too thick or thin, but it's a bit on the sheer side. After the second coat I felt like my nail line was still visible so I went in for an additional one to get full coverage. Shown here in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Also included in the last Fairytale Finish NeverEnding Fairytales subscription is a wax melt from Front Range Balm. This is a passion-fruit limeade wax melts called Fairytale Passion and it's incredible. The scent was so potent that I could smell it from outside the package... while still in my mailbox!
Overall I'm really sad to see Fairytale Finish go, but Amanda couldn't be closing shop with a better duo. She managed to capture the whole birthday essence perfectly with each one of the shades. I mean you can't look at these without thinking confetti or cupcakes! And don't even get me started on the wax melt again, I have seriously developed a new addiction thanks to this one.
