Hiya guys! Fall is in full session and I am absolutely loving it. You best believe I am enjoying my uggs and pumpkin spice latte, haha. But you know what's the best part about Fall? The new polish releases, of course! I live for this season because it's when all the vamp and rich colors come out to play. Today I'm sharing swatches for the Fall 2016 Quad from Daily Hues Lacquer, which consists of four rich holographic shades. Without further ado, let's get to the swatches!
Daily Hues Lacquer - Crimson
Crimson can be described as a berry crimson red holo with gold highlights. If there was a polish to describe 'sexy red' this would be it! It's truly more stunning than photos can capture.
The formula has a very opaque and smooth application. It's pretty much a gorgeous one coat wonder! That said, I did feel the holographic finish was not as strong as the others. There was also no staining on removal to my nail beds or cuticles. Shown here in one coat and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Daily Hues Lacquer - Olive
Olive can be described as a deeper toned green holo with gold highlights. And here we have my favorite in this collection! It's so rare for me to find a green that suits my skin-tone, but when I do it's a killer. And so we have this knock-out! Hands down a favorite from this brand to date and a must-have.
The formula has a sheer application, much more than the rest in this collection. It's almost so sheer I would consider it a jelly. Consistency wise it's balanced, not too thick or too thin. Shown in three coats and sealed it with a glossy topcoat.
Daily Hues Lacquer - Hazel
Hazel can be described as a black leaning grey holo with gold highlights. Really, I feel like I'm going ga-ga over each polish and I am trying to contain my giddiness. For whatever reason, I don't think I even owned a black holo before this. I know, what kind of polish addict am I! Haha, one that is very happy to have this in my life now.
The formula has a really opaque application, but it's not quite a one coater. It has a nice balanced consistency, not too thick or too thin. The holographic finish is very strong in this shade as well, even indoors. Shown in two coats and sealed it with a glossy topcoat.
Daily Hues Lacquer - Rowan
Rowan can be described as a deep tone blue holo with gold highlights.
The formula has a really opaque and smooth application. It's pretty much a one coater, but I did another for more sparkle and holo. Unfortunately this polish has a bit of an issue with the holo sinking to the bottom of the bottle. This issue shouldn't be present in newer patches. Shown in two coats and sealed it with a glossy topcoat.
