Sally Hansen - Miracle Gel Spring 2017

Hiya guys! It's finally starting to feel and look like Spring in Jersey and I am loving it. Especially after weeks of nothing but rain. Normally I wouldn't mind the rain, but I have a leak in my car. Not fun. But now it's all sunshine and that means it's time for my pasty self to catch some rays, haha. So for today I'm sharing swatches for the new Spring shades from Sally Hansen's Miracle Gel line. These are designed for long-lasting wear (at least 14 days), but please keep in mind I'll only be reviewing the formula and application. Let's check out the gorgeous creams!

Sally Hansen - Miracle Gel Spring 2017

All three new Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Spring shades are now available for purchase. Each shade comes as a duo paired with the Miracle Gel topcoat for $14.99. You can find the Sally Hansen brand at your local drug store like Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid.

Sally Hansen - Lilac Insomniac

Lilac Insomniac can be described as a taupe-tinged violet cream.

The formula has a really opaque formula, definitely a one coater even with a light hand. Consistency wise it leans on the thin side and tends to run a little if the brush is overloaded. The brush shape doesn't help the runny nature of the formula, I've never been a big fan of them. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Aqua Chakra can be described as a tempered turquoise cream.

Make Me Mauve can be described as a deep bright mauve cream.

Overall these are the staple colors for the Spring and definitely must-haves if you don't have similar shades already in your collection. Even for someone like me who has a hefty collection, I can really appreciate simple smooth creams like these.
