Hiya guys, how's it going? Sephora has recently partnered up with Preen.Me for their new Formula X Infinite Ombre Kit. I was one of the lucky few that were selected to receive this kit as part of the Preen.Me VIP program. This Infinite Ombre Kit from Sephora's Formula X line consists of five polishes made to make nail art a breeze with no tools required. The premise sounds intriguing enough, doesn't it? Let's take a closer look at the kit and at the mani I created.
But this is definitely not all this kit can do! The ideas seem really endless and well... doesn't this look like the perfect base for some further art?
From the official Sephora website: Pull off ombré nail looks with this innovative set that makes nail art easy. It features a kaleidoscopic array of five lacquers, uniquely designed to fuse with one another while wet, allowing you to blend, stripe, dot, and marble your way to never-before-seen nail art in a few effortless brush strokes. Simply layer the colored lacquers over the Platinum Prime silver base once dry and watch your mani transform instantly into any effect of your choice—from ombré to tie-dye to water color effects—the design possibilities are infinite. This set includes an illustrated, step-by-step tutorial for three eye-catching looks so you can paint on eye-catching color hybrids that revamp nails into stunning works of art.
So how do you guys feel about the Sephora Formula X Infinite Ombre Kit? I'm really curious to hear from those who might have tried it in comparison with OPI Color Paints.
I love the gradient you created and the leopard print over top is awesome! I almost picked up this set a Sephora a few weeks ago, and now I wish I had!
ReplyDeleteYou should totally go back and grab it! I really like it so far, lots of options for manis for only five colors essentially.
DeleteGorgeous mani. The gradients are awsome!!
ReplyDeleteThanks and I definitely agree! Perfect alone or with art every time.
DeleteI love all the color combos! The kit looks fun :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. It's a lot of fun for sure and so different from anything I've tried before.
DeleteSo fun! I'm definitely intrigued by these!
ReplyDeleteYou should totally get it! I'm sure you could come up with some really awesome manis!
DeleteYou did an amazing job with these! I passed since I got the OPI kit but I love these kind of syrup/jelly polishes.
ReplyDeleteThese look pretty fun! I love the different gradient combinations that you did!
ReplyDeleteYeah...I need these! Beautiful swatches, I love the gradient and the leopard print is so fun!
ReplyDeleteI saw these the other day and was curious about them. I thought it was a great idea and less money than the OPI set. Great design, too!
ReplyDeleteI always struggle with gradients! I NEED this kit!
ReplyDeleteLove the gradient! I've been playing with these and they are fun
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun kit! Perfect gradient. I'm a little jealous of your gradient skills. haha
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun look!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteSuch a cute little kit, and I love the look you created!
ReplyDeleteI love that gradient base you created - seriously gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a fun kit with a great assortment of colours! I'm curious how thick and pigmented the polishes are though. Are the colours not the most pigmented so you have to layer over the silver base, or can they stand up on there own?
ReplyDeleteOK I must find a place here that sells this! I'm in loose!
ReplyDelete"Im in looooove" was what I meant... Autocorrect grrrrmmmbblll!
DeleteThat gradient is amazing! The colours are really gorgeous, can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteThe kit sounds like an excellent idea, though I cannot see pulling off a gradient without using a tool. I looooooove the manis you created!!
ReplyDeleteThis looks very interesting! I can't wait to see the rest of the designs that you do with this kit.
ReplyDeleteThe nail art that you did with these is so awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat gradient is gorgeous! I'm interested to see what else you come up with since the "no tools" part has me intrigued and confused at the same time. haha! I can understand the layering part because these look like they have a similar consistency as the opi sheer tints, but less goopy. I'm just having a hard time picturing a dotticure being done with just the polish brush.
ReplyDeleteI really like the pink-yellow gradient nails :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a really neat looking kit! The manis I've seen with it all look so awesome, and yours is no exception! I love the leopard that you finished it off with!
ReplyDeleteHrm, I like that these have the mixing/watercolor aspect, while still being very vibrant. I like that it comes as a kit (does it have instructions?)
