So as we prep for eating and shopping I have a few more polishes ready to be added to your wishlist. Today I'm sharing swatches for the Gothic Winter Collection by Contrary Polish. The polishes and names were inspired by gothic novels - Victorian Gothic up through Southern Gothic and Contemporary American Gothic. The collection consists of six shimmering vampy shades, plus an additional shade with the purchase of the entire set. Let's go ahead and get started!

Almost Unearthly Thing can be described as a greyish brown with rosy pink shimmer and scattered holo sparkle. Inspired by Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte (1847).

An Imperfect Magic can be described as a deep purple with cobalt blue shimmer and scattered holo sparkle. Inspired by We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson (1962).

Fear of Sleep can be described as a dark teal with blue/purple shimmer and scattered holo sparkle. Inspired by Dracula by Bram Stoker (1897).

A Charm of Stillness can be described as a deep, blue-leaning green with gold shimmer and scattered holo sparkle. Inspired by The Turn of the Screw by Henry James (1898).

Midnight in the Dark can be described as a deep navy with green shimmer and scattered holo sparkle. Inspired by The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield (2006).

Overall I have to say this collection is giving me life right now! It's very different than everything else being released this time of year, so it's like a breath of fresh air. My favorite and must-have pck from this collection has got to be the shade Almost Unearthly Thing. Which shade is your favorite?
