Squishy Face Polish - Disney Villains Collection

Hiya guys! I mentioned yesterday about time flying and it really hit me again how true that is. This week for example is nothing but a blur to me. I really have to start my Christmas wishlist.. and speaking of I have a few beauties that might make your list! Today I'm sharing swatches for the Disney Villains Collection by Squishy Face Polish, inspired by some of our favorite baddies. This collection consists of four glitter filled shades perfect for year round fun. Let's go ahead and get to the swatches!

Squishy Face Polish - Disney Villains Collection

The Disney Villains Collection by Squishy Face Polish will be releasing tomorrow Friday, November 18th at 10AM PDT.

Squishy Face Polish - Leota
Squishy Face Polish - Leota

Leota can be described as a bright blue crelly filled with black and white glitter, iridescent shards, and holo shimmer. Inspired by the character Madame Leota from the movie Haunted Mansion.

The formula has a sheer application, but does build up well. It has a really smooth consistency allows for easy layering. Even after three coats I did feel like I had a visible nail line in person. But I think that was because I used too much of a light hand during application. I'd like to also note I didn't experience any staining on removal to my cuticles or nail bed. Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Squishy Face Polish - Evil Queen

Evil Queen can be described as a black jelly filled with iridescent rainbow flakes, holo hex glitter, scattered white square glitter, and holo shimmer. Inspired by the character Maleficent from the movie Sleeping Beauty.

The formula has a very sheer application as expected from a jelly finish. It does build up for an opaque full coverage finish easily. Each brush is filled with glitters and flakes, which end up applying evenly throughout the nail. Due the glitters, it does dry to a gritty finish and will need a thick layer of topcoat smooth down. Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Hook can be described as a micro glitter polish packed full of red, black, silver holo, and iridescent glitters. Inspired by the character of Captain Hook from the movie Peter Pan.

The formula has a very sheer application and it definitely needs layering in order to accomplish an opaque look. Consistency is really great, not too thick or too thin, which lets the glitters build up on the nail without the need to dab. It does dry very textured, so I ended up doubling up on the topcoat for a smooth finish. Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Mim can be described as a bright orchid crelly filled with blue hexes, blue shimmer, and a little holo sparkle. Inspired by the character Mim from movie The Sword in the Stone.

Another great formula with a nice consistency and build up. You can probably get away with a two coats, but I used a light hand during application. Dries to a very minimal gritty finish that smooths out perfectly with topcoat. Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Overall this is such a cute collection and it made such a good first impression on me! I didn't mind the extra layering of the formulas, because the consistencies were really so easy to work with. Hands down picks for must haves in this collection are Leota and Mim. The color to glitter combination are just so vivid and gorgeous! Tomorrow I'll be sharing even more polishes as Squishy Face Polish is also releasing a Fall/Winter collection.

To recap, the Disney Villains Collection by Squishy Face Polish will be releasing tomorrow Friday, November 18th at 10AM PDT.
