Hiya guys! I have to start off by apologizing for some serious lateness vibes. Because when it rains it pours and I managed to corrupt my images so I had to reswatch these this week. Swatching while sick has definitely been an experience this week, haha. Not a good one. But you know I prefer getting sick ten times over now if it means being good in June for Polish Con. Today I'm sharing swatches for Week 7 of the Road to Polish Con series, which features Different Dimension and Glisten & Glow. Both of these gorgeous shade are inspired by the Midsummer's Nights Dream theme, specifically made to mimic the way light would reflect off of a fairy’s wings. Without further ado, let's get to the swatches!

Eat, Drink, & Be Fairy can be described as a light purple to silver thermal holographic polish, with a gorgeous color-shifting unicorn type shimmer, complemented by holographic silver galaxy microglitters. Sparkle is an understatement to describe this gorgeous finish. I know I say this all the time, but photos don't do any justice for the holo finish. And as I said, it's a thermal! I haven't worn a thermal in quite some time so I was definitely very excited to try this out. Especially because it has such a dramatic color change as it transitions.
The formula has a good opacity and builds-up evenly for full coverage. The thermal has a flawless transition that triggers easily, usually I have a hard time triggering the cold phase. Consistency wise it leans on the thick side due to all the glitters, so I opted for some thinner in order to have easier layering. It dries down to a very textured finish, so I suggest doubling up on the topcoat for a smooth finish. I'd also like to note that removal isn't as tricky as I expected it to be and there was no soaking needed. Shown here in two to three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Fairy In Love can be described as a light teal thermal holographic polish with mesmerizing pink and orange unicorn pigment with sparkles of holographic silver galaxy microglitters. Here we have one of my favorites from the RTPC series so far, needless to say it's a must-have. This thermal is again bringing that dramatic transition and I'm head over heels for it. The pink/orange shimmer works so perfectly against the base, it's so unique and gorgeous. I told you guys I loved it and here I am utterly gushing, haha.
The formula has a sheer application, but it has a great build-up for full coverage. The consistency is well balanced, not too thick or too thin. There is so much shimmer, much more than photos could even hope to capture. It dries down to a minimal gritty finish that smooths out perfectly after topcoat. I didn't experience any staining on removal to either my nail beds or cuticles. Shown here in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
