Great Lakes Lacquer - Dreaming of Dragonflies
Dreaming of Dragonflies can be described as a deep purple with a lean to blue, filled with a iridescent flake that shifts from purple to magenta to orange to yellow to green and a soft linear holographic finish. I know I have been swatching a lot of polishes so far for GLL, but this one is definitely one of my favorites from the bunch. And I'm not even usually a fan of purple so that should really speak volumes here. The combination of the vibrant purple base against the flakies really gives the finish so much depth and complexity. And ever shift of your nails causes the flakies colors to just ripple through each other - so beautiful especially under direct sunlight. And just like with My Lavendear, the shade perfectly compliments my skin-tone and makes me glow. I actually cannot wait to be able to pull this out again once it's summer time.
And that's another wrap on another gorgeous shade from Great Lakes Lacquer this month. Hang on tight there cause I do have a few more to share that are equally as gorgeous. It's a rough month for our wallets that's for sure, haha. Tell me though, are you just as into flakies as I am? Although it didn't start off as one of my favorite finishes, it has quickly moved into the top five territory and I wouldn't be surprised if it moves up to the number one spot at this rate. If you love this shade then be sure to head over to the Fantasmic Flakies group on Facebook and join, it's the only way to buy this shade. Hurry though it's only available through January 31st and then it's gone for good! Be sure to let me know all your thoughts down below. Stay safe and I will catch you next time xoxo Moonbaes.
