BTS Black Swan Jimin Pin from VantaeFRShop

Hiya guys! Kicking off this week with something a little different and not nail polish related for a change. It feels like it has been a long time since I have shared another new pin added to my growing BTS Jimin collection. Honestly that's kind of because it has been a long while. So much so that I have managed to purchase quite a few more and I think it's to the point where I can probably fill up my first board. Of course I have become quite familiar with a few shops and have made a few purchases before even getting to show you any of them, haha. Hopefully you won't mind more pin posts coming your way in the not so distant future. Anyhow the pin I'm sharing with you is once again from the shop VantaeshopFR, which is based in France. The name might sound familiar as a few months ago I blogged about another purchase from this shop which was the Jimin Fan Performance Pin. 

This pin was purchased during regular in-stock a few months ago. It is a Grade B pin and retails for about $19 after the conversion (not including shipping). At the time of my purchase there wasn't Grade A available and I was worried about it not being restocked so I purchased it on impulse haha. Luckily though it is currently in stock as both Grade A and B in case you are interested in adding this one to your collection as well.  

This pin is inspired by Park Jimin in the BTS music video for their song titled Black Swan. It is such a beautiful song and their performance is always very artistic and moving to watch. In the music video there is a scene in which Jimin looks up and black wings spout from behind his back. You can watch the music video here and the specific scene I mention can be scene at the 1:50 timestamp. This song is one of my favorites from the Map of the Soul era and I am so happy to have found a pin that perfectly captures my most favorite scene as a Jimin bias. It's such a complex design with a lot of line work, but it's all done so well and clean. Simple yet beautiful. I don't think it would have worked any other way and I have yet to come across a pin that embodies that scene as well as this one does.

As with my previous pin from this creator, you can see their brand name on the back of the pin. This is the the biggest pin in my collection to date coming in at 2 inches. It is crafted so well and the large scaling of the pin works with the overall design. Not too big or too small to capture the inspiration and not feel overwhelming. This design could have so easily turned out to be gaudy, but everything in it was chosen so well by the creator that it comes off as immaculate.

As I mentioned before this particular pin is a Grade B and that means that it does come with some minor flaws. It was hard to find them at first, but the flaws are in the outer outline of the design. As you can see there are just a few nicks. From the front it really isn't noticeable at all especially not when it's hanging on a pin board. 

This is honestly my most favorite pin in my collection so far and I do keep kicking myself for not getting this in Grade A quality when I had the chance, but it was during a bad time and then I didn't think to ask if restocks were happening. But yeah if this is something that perks your interest definitely add it to your collection. It's just such a beautiful pin and I feel like I have said that about 20 times during this post, but I can't help myself because it's absolutely the truth. VantaeshopFR has become one of my favorite pin creators and I jump at the chance to purchase any Jimin related pin she creates.
