Hiya guys! How's it going today? It was nothing, but rain this weekend as a hurricane passed by Jersey. Luckily we didn't get hit by it or suffer any major flooding in the area that I live. So although I got to relax at home, I was bummed out because I had been planning to attend Six Flags for Fright Fest. Hopefully this weekend coming up mother nature will allow us to get our spook on. Today I am continuing on with showing you guys even more Halloween inspired goodies with swatches from the All Holos Eve collaboration. This limited edition collaboration box is brought to you by the lovely indies Cirque Colors, Lacquer Lust and Serum No.5.
The All Holos Eve gift set was available yesterday October 4th at CirqueColors.com, Lacquer-Lust.com and SerumNo5.com for $32. Unfortunately these were already sold out by this morning on all three of the websites. As I mentioned before, these were limited edition so they will not be restocked.
Cirque Colors - Coven
Cirque Colors contribution is called Coven and it is an indigo jelly base with red to gold to green shifting shimmer. Such a perfect shade for Halloween. It has such a vampy and sexy feel, it's honestly great no matter the occasion. The formula is a little bit on the sheer side, but that's to be expected in a jelly. The application is very smooth and has very even opacity with each layer. It dries to a super shiny finish on its own as well. Shown here is three thin coats and a glossy topcoat.
Lacquer Lust - Candy Corn and Unicorns
Lacquer's Lust contribution is called Candy Corn and Unicorns and it's a silver holographic micro glitter base with small to medium yellow, white, black and orange hex glitters. Definitely my favorite of the bunch, but no shock there since I am a girl who loves bling. The glitter combinations adds a perfect twist to the typical silver glitter polish! The formula was a tiny bit on the thick side, but very manageable and easy to apply. Shown here is three thin coats and a glossy topcoat.
Serum No. 5 - You’re Boo-tiful
Serum No. 5's contribution is called You’re Boo-tiful and it is a black jelly base packed with a bewitching mix of red, silver, orange, and purple glitters in various sized hexes and square. Of course this is Serum No. 5 so it glows in the dark beautifully. I actually ended up goofing and deleting the photos accidentally though. Yup, it's been one of those days. But after charging the polish for an hour, it glows a bright aqua color. Since this beauty has a glitter heavy finish I did opt to seal it with two layers of topcoat for a smoother look. Shown here is two thin coats and a glossy topcoat.
Overall the All Holo’s Eve trio collaboration is such a strong showing for all three indies involved Cirque Colors, Lacquer Lust and Serum No.5. It's really no surprise how quickly the box ended up selling out (within 24 hours) in all three shops. If you ended up missing out, please don't let it discourage you because their shops are filled with other equally as beautiful polishes. Don't forget to follow these shops on Instagram and Facebook! You never know when another collaboration might be in the works!
