Challenge Your Nail Art: Day 2 The Woods

Hiya guys. It's been a few days, have you missed me? If you follow me on social media then you know the reason for my absence the past few days has a name. Sofia. She's a 6-week old puppy that I picked up on Thursday night. As you can probably imagine, I've been spending a lot of time taking care of the little one. Today was definitely better than the first day and I was able to sneak away to do some nail art. I ended up missing the first prompt for the January Challenge Your Nail Art, so I was determined to do something for day 2. This month's prompts revolve around Winnie the Pooh and the specific prompt for today is 'The Woods'. So here's the mani I came up with on short notice.

What do you guys think? I'm actually quite pleased with how it turned out considering I was rushing. I was debating a glossy or matte topcoat, but ended up choosing a glossy finish thanks to Seche Vite. 

My favorite part about the whole mani are the trees, I absolutely love how they turned out. Everything here was done with acrylic paint, even the base color. Even though I missed out on yesterday's theme, I wanted to try and include a bit of it in today's mani hence the bees and honey.
