Nail Hoot Lacquer - The Holo'd Trio

Hiya guys! It's been a few days since my last post, but I've been taking some time for myself. Although I love blogging, there comes a point where I need to remember to step away from social media and go outside. There is actually a world out there, ya know. But now that I have refreshed my spirits, it's time to swatch it up and share all the new collections launching soon. Today I have one of the upcoming trios from Nail Hoot Lacquer, titled the Holo'd Trio. The three shades in this set are the holographic variation to three of the launch polishes from The Beginning collection. Because holo is life and we all love our unicorns, do we not? Haha. Seriously though, I love this idea of like a remix of sorts from her launch collection. But you guys be the judge and let's take a look at the swatches.

Nail Hoot Lacquer - The Holo'd Trio

Preorders have started today and with this comes a few deals only available through the presale period. The Holo'd Trio is available for $25.50 (free shipping during presale) and individually for $9 each on the official release date of September 18th.

Genesis Holo'd is a bright blue linear holographic polish. Starting off with my favorite, this blue has a fierce color shift from teal to purple as the sun hits. I'm going to be a total enabler and say this is a must-have! Formula and application seal the deal for me, totally flawless. Super smooth layers. Shown here in two coats and topped with a glossy topcoat.

Leviticus Holo'd can be described as a peachy metallic linear holographic polish. I love it whenever there is a polish that defies my expectation of how it'll look against my skin-tone. Usually I am the first to say away from peachy tones, but the tone of this shade is gorgeous. The formula and consistency are again really spot on, not too thin or too thick. Shown here in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Numbers Holo'd can be described as a light pink holographic polish. Another very subtle toned beauty. Again, it's not a color I would normally love wearing but I cannot deny that it looks so smooth and pretty against skin-tone. Same great formula and consistency with no issues in the application. Shown here in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Overall I'm impressed by the formulas on these holos if nothing else. The colors are definitely gorgeous as well and if you don't have anything similar in your collection then these are the ones for you.

As I mentioned before, the Holo'd Trio is available for $25.50 (free shipping during presale) and individually for $9 each on the official release date of September 18th.
