Savvy Naturalista - Mani Mochi Review

Hiya guys! I have a really awesome new product to share with you today that I know you're going to love. I don't normally share a lot of nail care products so that's something I know I'll have to do more often. Today I am sharing a new product from Savvy Naturalista called Mani Mochi! Not only do I have this review here, but I also made a video review which you can find after the jump-cut. Fair warning, I do have a slight accent so my apologizes if I pronounce anything off haha.

In my video, you can see the simple and effective packaging for each one of the mani mochis. You can easily reseal the baggies after cutting and using the portion you desire. You can also see how easy it is to use this product!

Mani Mochi - Taste the Rainbow

Taste the Rainbow has a wonderful smell of cherries and berries. Just think of Skittles in creamy form for your hands and that's this right here. Definitely one of my favorites!

Mani Mochi - Love Shack

Mega Mochi - The Sirens Drink

Mani Mochi - Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie

As you can notice I forgot to take photos of Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie while it was still whole. This is a limited edition scent in the shop and will only be available for the Fall season. I know personally I love to get my hands on seasonal scents to get my in the spirit of things. To me this one gave off more of a cinnamon fragrance rather than pumpkin pie. But it's still a fantastic smell to have, not too strong either.

One of the first things I'd like to clear up is that Mani Mochis are NOT the same as a mani bombs. Think of a Mani Mochi as a thick paste that easily dissolves as you scrub it against your hands. Mani mochi scrubs are loaded with olive and coconut oil, butters, salt, sugar, kaolin clay and gentle cleansers.

As a swatcher these feel like straight up godsend for my tired and worn down skins. I usually swatch anywhere from five to ten polishes in one sitting. Yup, my cuticles definitely hate me. In the photo above you can see how dry my hands look after a few hours of applying and removing polish. In other words it was the perfect opportunity to take these mani mochis for a test run!

The website also provides really simple instructions: To Use: Cut your mani scrubs into 2-3  equally sized pieces and then decide which one you wish to use on your hands first. After you have gotten your hands wet under the running water, gently rub the mani mochi all over your hands and watch it smear into a wonderful smooth paste all over hands. Once you have exfoliated your hands rinse well, dry and add a light hand cream.

Water is definitely your friend when using these. The better soaked your hands are, the easier the scrub starts to activate and soak into your skin. I spent about five minutes scrubbing my hands thoroughly with the mani mochi. Additionally I let it sit and soak for another minute before proceeding to wash it away.

The photo above was taken right after washing and drying my hands, no other oils or creams were added. You can see the clear difference and how softer and healthy my hands look. Afterwards I went ahead and applied some cuticle oil and went straight to bed with the lovely smell of cinnamon on my hands. I have been using these before and after each one of my swatch sessions, which happens every other day. I can feel the improvement and it has generally reduced my need to use creams as much.

Overall I definitely recommend this product to anyone and everyone looking to up their nail care routine. I love how these don't completely fall apart or crumble the way a mani bomb usually does. More importantly as a nail girl on a budget the pricing on these is absolutely amazing and reasonable. I intend to stock up because I am already down to my last one since initially receiving these for review! Pink Sugar you will be mine!
