Valentine's Day Nail Art - Patchwork Hearts

Hiya guys! I can't believe it's already February, heck I can't believe it's this late in the afternoon and I'm still typing this up! Time is flying off the hinges and someone needs to get a hold of father time and tell him to chill out. Originally I thought I was going to be all clever and do a two-week segment for Valentine's Day nail art. Then I realize it's February 2nd so I already messed it up haha. Nonetheless, I still plan to throw out a few more love day designs between now and then. For today I decided to do some patchwork hearts over a popping pink base! Let's take a look!

What do you guys think? It has a very pop-punk princess feel to it and that much I am definitely loving.

I'll be honest, I don't love the way this ended up turning out. But at the same time I am glad that I went through and finished it because it doesn't look too terrible. In retrospect, I should of probably done the lines for the patchwork a little on the thinner side... and a maybe a little shorter too? What do you guys think?

In either case, here's a break down of everything else I used to create this mani:

• Base: Tux Polish - Hopeless Romantic
• American Craft white & black acrylic paint 
• Winstonia Berry Wine Brush
• Glam My Mani Heart Vinyl
• Top Coat: Butter London Matte

Quick note: Thank you for all of you who are subscribing, it means so much to me. I'm anxious to get to the 500 milestone so I can change the channel name to something more suitable haha. 

As I mentioned before, I am hoping to have a few more Valentine's manis as we countdown to love day. But no promises cause then I'll feel like a dbag if I don't get to do it haha.
