Faeries and Folklore - Finding Nemo Part 2 Collection

Hiya guys! Where has the week gone?! I cannot believe it's almost the weekend already, not that I'm complaining. As I mentioned yesterday, I'm a bit behind in posting this week because I've been feeling under the weather. So today I'm sharing a long overdue review with you for the vibrant Finding Nemo Part 2 Collection from Faeries and Folklore. This collection consists of five neon crelly and jelly polishes, along with a fun glitter topper! Let's go ahead and get started.

The Finding Nemo Part 2 Collection from Faeries and Folklore is now available for purchase. The full-size complete collection retails for $54. Individually each polish retails between $8 to $11.

Faeries and Folklore - My Bubbles!

My Bubbles! can be described as a neon yellow crelly filled with iridescent glitter in micro glitter and small hexes. I love how bright this looks, it's one of the brightest yellows I own. Although I would like to note that my photos don't do the neon any justice. Unfortunately this one had a difficult formula for me as I found it to be extremely thick to the point it did affect the application. I added a bit of thinner as well, but I didn't have better results with the thickness. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

I'd like to note that Molly, the creator of Faeries and Folklore, did offer me a replacement. Unfortunately as you guys know I'm not in the best health, so I had to decline since I wouldn't have time to re-swatch it this month. The other blogger who reviewed this collection did not experience the same issues I did.

Faeries and Folklore - Just Keep Swimming

Just Keep Swimming can be described as a bright blue jelly with holographic sparkle and silver flecks. I always love me a vibrant blue, I seriously cannot have enough blue polishes. This is supposed to have some holo sparkle, but it's very subtle so I could not capture any of it indoors. The formula has a sheer consistency, but the application is smooth and easy to layer. And no staining from this aquatic beauty either so that's a plus! Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Faeries and Folklore - Curse You, Aqua Scum!

Curse You, Aqua Scum! can be described as a clear based glitter topper with metallic green micro glitter, and a mixture of glitter in multiple shapes, sizes and colors. I had to create a gradient to properly showcase this glitter bomb, it's such a fun polish! The formula was fantastic, each brush stroke had ample glitters. There was very minimal dabbing needed to get the glitters to spread evenly on the nail. Shown here in two coats over a gradient and sealed with topcoat.

Faeries and Folklore - Don't Be a Darla

Don't Be a Darla can be described as a neon pink jelly with holographic sparkle, and a hint of gold shimmer. Who doesn't look a neon pink?! As I mentioned with Just Keep Swimming, the the holo is really subtle in daylight. The formula has a sheer consistency, but is an easy application that self-levels well. It has such a squishy finish, I love it! Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Faeries and Folklore - Mine! Mine! Mine!

Mine! Mine! Mine! can be described as a neon violet crelly with silver flakes. This is definitely my favorite in the collection, it's such a unique combination. The formula has a smooth application and each brush stroke has plenty of flakes. The consistency is the best by far among this collection, not too thick or too thin. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Faeries and Folklore - For Coral & Babies

For Coral & Babies can be described as a neon orange crelly with metallic fuchsia micro glitter, silver micro flakes, and iridescent flakies. The formula has a bit of a thick consistency, but still felt like a manageable application. It applies on the sheer side and needed a few coats for an opaque finish. After it dried some of the flakies tended to 'stick' up on the finish even after topcoat. During my swatch this only happened on one nail though, so it could of been just a fluke. Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Overall I definitely have mixed feelings on this collection, some favorites and some not so much. Again I want to say Molly was super sweet to the issues I brought up and I really wish I was in better health so I could have reswatched the two I had problems with. Those two aside, I did love Mine! Mine! Mine! and Curse You, Aqua Scum! so much. Definitely have to say those two are my must-have picks, very summer perfect! Which one are your favorites?

To recap, the Finding Nemo Part 2 Collection from Faeries and Folklore is now available for purchase. The full-size complete collection retails for $54. Individually each polish retails between $8 to $11.
