Hiya guys! How's it going? I'm continuing with some more Fall gorgeousness that will make your wallets weep, haha. Today I'm sharing swatches for the A Recipe for Fall Collection by Firecracker Lacquer, which consists of four rich shades in glittery filled finishes. Let the enabling begin as we go right into the swatches!
The A Recipe for Fall Collection by Firecracker Lacquer will be releasing this Thursday, October 20th at 8PM EST. Each full-size bottle retails between $10 to $11.
Firecracker Lacquer - Leggings and Boots 4ever
Leggings and Boots 4ever can be described as a deep, ultra sparkly blue lacquer accented with sparkles and flakies in bronze. I can't decide what I love more, the name or the shade! It seriously describes my Fall wardrobe, leggings all day every day. The formula has a fantastic application, very opaque and smooth. I experienced no staining during removal despite its rich pigmentation. It dries to a slightly gritty finish, but smooths down after topcoat. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Firecracker Lacquer -Pumpkin Smashing
Pumpkin Smashing can be described as a deep, bright red lacquer with a gold shimmer and filled to the brim with shifty flakies. If pumpkins looked this gorgeous on the inside I think polish girls everywhere would be smashing them left and right, haha. The formula has a smooth and even application. Also the consistency feels very balanced, not too thin or too thick. Again no staining with this one either. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Firecracker Lacquer - Basic Bait
Basic Bait can be described as a black jelly base filled with hidden glitters in gold, bronze, and copper. The glitters this vampy shade are very subtle. It was very challenging to capture them on camera, it was driving me bonkers haha. The formula is similar to that of Pumpkin Smashing, smooth and very opaque. I felt like this could definitely be a one coater if you used a heavy hand during the application. It dries to a minimally gritty finish that smooths down with topcoat. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Firecracker Lacquer - Caramel Dipped
Caramel Dipped can be described as a creamy orange-brown linear holographic lacquer with holographic glitters in varying fall-oriented colors. The formula is really opaque with this one as well and it could almost pass as a one coater. It dries very textured and will need double topcoat to smooth down. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Overall I really love this collection and how well they go with the season. Bonus for all of them complimenting my skin-tone, it's rare that a whole collection can pull that off. My personal hands down favorite has to be Leggings and Boots 4ever, definitely a must have for the season. But which one is your favorite? Let me know down in the comments!
To recap, the A Recipe for Fall Collection by Firecracker Lacquer will be releasing this Thursday, October 20th at 8PM EST. Each full-size bottle retails between $10 to $11.
