Sally Hansen - June 2017 Color of the Moment | Flushed Coral

Hiya guys! I hope everyone in the states had a lovely 4th of July yesterday. I ended up buying a little doggie pool and my four mutts went wild. Needless to say I had a blast with my little babies. It honestly made me so happy to see them having fun after all the things they've been through. But now it's back to the polish grind as I'm still playing the catch up game. Today I'm sharing the Color of the Moment shades by Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure line from the month of June. Let's take a look at the swatches!

Sally Hansen - June 2017 Color of the Moment

The Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure shades are now available for purchase at your local drug store like Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid. These retail for around $6.99, depending on the store and any current sales.

Sally Hansen - Kook a Mango

Kook a Mango can be described as a flushed coral leaning on orange cream. Initially I didn't think this was going to be a color for me, but boy was I wrong. It brings out the olive warmth from my skin tone without clashing and instead giving me a sun goddess glow. I'm all about this shade and have to mark it as a must have, especially for my fellow latinas.

The formula has a really opaque and smooth application. Consistency wise it's very balanced, not too thick or too thin. It dries to a stunning high shine finish on its on. I experienced no staining on removal to my cuticles or nail bed. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Get Juiced can be described as a medium coral pink cream. Although pink is not a favorite shade of mine, this shade ends up winning me over. It's a very luscious and creamy shade, it screams smooth.

The formula has a really opaque application, similar to Kook a Mango. The consistency is very smooth and easy to control. It also self levels flawlessly as it dries to a high-shine. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

I knew from the second I received these colors that I would be using them in a gradient effect. They blend into each out so seamlessly and are perfect for a really bright summer look. I wanted to take it a step further though and add some stamping over the gradient and I love the way it turned out. Because the colors are so bold the stamping doesn't overshadow them, the shades are definitely what make this mani 'pop'.

Overall I have to say the Complete Salon Manicure line is one of my favorites from Sally Hansen. Outside of this challenge, I do tend to gravitate towards this line of hues as I have a helmer drawer full of them. Not only are these creams affordable, but they are perfect for nail art. Back when I did nothing but nail art, I practically lived off this line. Some shades in this line can even stamp and watermarble! Definitely something worth checking out for yourself next time you're at the store.
