Hiya guys! Another day, another Halloween mani. I feel like I am going to be so lost after Halloween and not know how to shut off the spooky in my mind, haha. The mani that I have for you today I actually attempted about three to four times before I was finally satisfied with the outcome. If you have been on Instagram then you have had to see this recreated or reposted somewhere! To me it feels like it is the mani of the season this year and I certainly didn't want to feel left out. Yup guys, someone is watching you! Look out!
Too spooky! This mani was inspired by the lovely Nails By Cambria, who has been killing it day-after-day this year with all the Halloween designs. Cambria was originally inspired by the talented Krbnails! So this is like a nail inception or something, haha.
The gradient was done using from Red Satin and Looking Bootiful by China Glaze and OPI's O Suzi Mio. Over the gradient, I used a glitter topper from Clubbing Girl Polish called Club Drinks. The eyes were painted with black acrylic paint and my handy-dandy new brush from Winstonia. The whole look was then sealed with a glossy topcoat only for me to have instant regret and go over it with a matte one instead. Much better!
Nails By Cambria did a quick 15 second video tutorial on Instagram, which is what I followed to recreate those evil eyes. Definitely check it out, these are so much easier to do than you may think it is. Especially if you choose to work with acrylic paint like I did with my design here.
What do you guys think of my recreation? Have any of you guys seen or tried this spooky nail art look this year?
