Hiya guys! Better than me I'm hoping. Yes, I had another one of those nights where I wish I would of gotten more sleep. I only slept about four hours before having to come into work. Not ideal. I'm actually counting down till I can finally go home and nap. Since today is Tuesday I did want to stick to my nail art posts and not deviate. The next four days I'll be participating in the Challenge Your Nail Art prompts. Fair warning, don't expect too crazy detailed manis from me this week. My time, as you know, is extremely limited so I rather do a simple mani and participate then have to sit out for the month again. The prompt for today's mani is classic orange and black, this is what I came up with:
Isn't it simply... simple? Haha.
I've actually been dying to do another polka dot design the past few months. There's just something about neat polka dots that looks so freaking cute to me. This intense orange base definitely pumps up the overall look of the mani. It was actually really funny because my camera just would not focus in order to take the picture. As a result, I ended up taking maybe a hundred failed photos of this mani. In my head I just imagined the camera saying something along the lines of, "I'm trying woman! This color... too intense!!".
The orange base is called Goosebump Suit by Wild n Wild Fantasy Makers line. I'll actually be having a review and swatches on this Halloween collection up this week. The black polka dots were done using acrylic paint and I sealed in this design with a glossy topcoat. And finally, for the polka dots themselves I used my handy dandy dotting tool.
Hope you guys like my Halloween polka dots, as simple as they may be. Don't forget to check out the other ladies participating in this month's challenge!
Cute! Polka dots are actually a refreshing change for me this time of year!

ReplyDeleteThank you very much :)
DeleteHa I did dots too! I absolutely love how your dots are so neatly spaced out in between!
ReplyDeleteHaha I'll have to check yours out. This has to be one of the neatest ones I've done, even surprised myself. I'm usual terrible at spacing them out right XD
DeleteI just love dotticures, so this is perfect for me!
ReplyDeleteThere is definitely something that feels "classic" about a dotticure.
DeleteI love everything - your dots, the colour, your gorgeous nail shape!
