Cupcake Polish - Holiday 2014 Collection

Hi guys! How's it going this crazy weekend? So many sales, it's absolutely making me head spin round and round. I'll probably end up showing you my little haul that has transpired within these last 24 hours and hopefully I'll ending up swatching it all this month. This is definitely a huge collection release weekend and today I'll be sharing another indie with a beautiful collection on the horizon. I'm talking about Cupcake Polish and the Holiday 2014 Collection! When you think holo polishes, you almost always think of Cupcake Polish right away and this collection makes you remember why that is. Comprised of six gorgeous shades here to rock your holidays, let's take a look at the Holiday 2014 Collection.

Cupcake Polish - Holiday 2014 Collection

The Holiday 2014 Collection by Cupcake Polish will be releasing on December 1st at 6PM CST. On launch day, you can grab the whole collection at the reduced price of $72.00.

Yule Be Missing Me
Cupcake Polish - Yule Be Missing Me

Yule Be Missing Me can be described as a rich purple linear holographic polish. I'm blown away by the intensity of this shade, These photos honestly don't do it any justice because the holo effect is jaw-dropping in direct sunlight. Application was very smooth and gave me no issues. For these swatches, I used two thin coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Just Sleighing Around
Cupcake Polish - Just Sleighing Around

Just Sleighing Around is described as a creamy red linear holographic polish. I know a lot of you guys don't understand my obsession with the color red, but this one should do the talking on its own. Not only is it the classic holiday red, but it's a one coater. Yup, all that holo red goodness in one single coat. I cannot wait to use this all season long with nail art! Great formula and consistency, no issues when applying. Despite the heavy pigmentation, there was absolutely no staining. For these swatches, I used one thin coat and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Look Who's Stocking Now
Cupcake Polish - Look Who's Stocking Now

Look Who's Stalking Now can be described as a teal linear holo with gold and teal shimmer. As hard as it is to pick favorites amongst this collection, this one is the one who won me over. Beautiful icy teal shade. Great formula like the rest of the polishes in this collection. It gave me no issues applying or layering. For these swatches, I used two thin coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Deck The Malls
Cupcake Polish - Deck The Malls

Deck The Malls can be described as green holographic micro glitter polish. Definitely not what I was expecting, yet I absolutely love the way the finish looks. It's so jammed back with micro glitters that it causes a slight texture finish. I recommend using two layers of a topcoat to reduce the texture unless you're like me and really like it. Excellent formula, this required no dabbing despite the caked on micro glitters. For these swatches, I used two thin coats and sealed with two coats of a glossy topcoat.

Ornamentary My Dear
Cupcake Polish - Ornamentary My Dear

Ornamentary My Dear can be described as a silver linear holographic polish packed with gold flakes and micro glitter. When I first saw the color in the bottle I didn't expect to be 'wow'ed whatsoever, but boy was I mistaken. This is the classic neutral shade of the season! It's perfect for those of us who have to be careful with our nail color selections for our office/business jobs. Heck, it's even spot on for any fancy dates you might have coming up. For these swatches, I used three thin coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat. There was a bit of dabbing involved for the third layer, but if you opt for two then you'll experience none of that.

Menorah-ty Opinion
Cupcake Polish - Menorah-ty Opinion

Menorah-ty Opinion can be described as a cobalt blue linear holo with blue and gold micro glitters and a ton of gold flakes. This is definitely the stand-out amongst the whole collection for me personally. The combination of the flakes, holo, and micro glitters create a unique and interesting polish. I don't own anything quite like it in my large collection. Excellent formula and consistency, each layer is neither too thick nor too thin. For these swatches, I used two thin coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Overall I'm head over heels in holo love with the Holiday 2014 Collection by Cupcake Polish. This collection gives you a color to go with every outfit! And no two polishes are even closely similar, giving you a wide range of shade selection for the holiday season. The formulas are top notch throughout the entire collection, but then again I expect nothing less when it comes to Cupcake Polish. I can now say first hand... errr... first nail that the hype is very much real and with good reason. If you guys haven't experienced this indie for yourselves, this is the collection you'll want to change that with.

The Holiday 2014 Collection by Cupcake Polish will be releasing on December 1st at 6PM CST. On launch day, you can grab the whole collection at the reduced price of $72.00. Be sure to follow and don't miss out!

So tell me guys, which one is your favorite? Or are you like me and can't decide?
