Ever After Polish - The Dracarys Trio

Hiya guys! Another day here to knock your socks off with some pretty polish. And as we approach Fall I'm excited to start seeing more toned down and earthy shades to fit the season. Today I'm sharing swatches for the Dracarys Trio from Ever After Polish, which will be debuting this weekend at Polish Con. I wish I could say that I was going this time around, but unfortunately it's a little too far away from me. This is actually one of three sets that will be released this weekend, so definitely lots to go crazy over. Plus all the other brands I'm sure. Whether you're going or not, this collection cannot be missed out on because it's drop dead gorgeous. Spoiler, if you're a fan of dragons then this is going to be right up your alley as it is mine. Without further ado, let's get right to it so you guys can start adding to that wish-list.

Ever After Polish - The Dracarys Trio

The Dracarys Trio by Ever After Polish will be available for purchase Friday, September 29th at 7pm EST. Each full-size 13.5mL bottle retails for $10.50 or the trio can be purchased as a set for $30.

Ever After Polish - Drogon
Ever After Polish - Drogon

Drogon can be described as a black polish with red-orange-gold flakes, red shimmer, and light scattered holo. Starting off this review with this dark and luscious shade that screams that dragon vibe. That vibrant red against the rich black is everything and I am more than here for it. Gives off the dragon scale vibes effortlessly and is so eye-catching. Much more in person, especially under direct sunlight where the orange tones come to life. The only thing that really stops this from being a must-have is that it's not the most unique combination. If you don't already own anything like it then definitely hands down you need it in your life (and on your nails). Oh and of course it looks fantastic against my skin-tone, it's a very safe color combination in terms of that.

The formula has a really good opacity throughout the application and builds-up to a full coverage. It's really surprisingly how well it evens out as it does lean on the jelly side during the inital coats. The consistency leans a little thin, but not too much where it causes any pooling or flooding. I found it still easy to work with and to layer. There are plenty of flakes and glitters per brush stroke that covers the nail entirely without clumping up. Perfection. It dries down to a minimal gritty finish that smooths out after topcoat. I would like to note that I didn't experience any staining on removal to either my nail beds or cuticles. Shown in two to three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Ever After Polish - Viserion
Ever After Polish - Viserion

Viserion can be described as a creamy, off-white polish with gold flakes, gold micro-glitter, and light scattered holo. Wowza. Doesn't this just give off the most regal and elegant vibes in life?! Even though I'm not a huge fan, I can feel the vibe from like Game of Thrones or something similar. Like something that could be worn by the Mother of Dragons herself. I love the fact that it's an off-white as it gives it a more subtle nude vibe that meshes with the gold. Gorgeous combination all around, the type of color you can wear year round with any occasion. The off-white makes the overall tone mesh against my skin-tone and doesn't bring out too much warmth.

The formula has a sheer application that builds-up to an almost full coverage finish. Very even throughout and easy to work with. It's kind of hard to tell and see the nail line in photos, but if you look closely you can tell. The nail line is even less noticeable in person, but something to note nonetheless. The consistency is well balanced, not too thick or too thin like the others. The flakes don't overwhelm the finish or clump up to each other throughout the application. Although I did note they did feel more scarce in comparison to the others in the trio. It dries down to a minimal gritty finish that smooths out after topcoat. Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Ever After Polish - Rhaegal
Ever After Polish - Rhaegal

Rhaegal can be described as a true green polish with red-bronze-gold-green multichrome flakes, bronze and gold shimmer, and light scattered holo. And now it's time for the grand final and my personal favorite from this collection. And yes, I am aware of what I am typing. A green? My favorite?! No, I have not gone insane or been taken over by aliens haha. I'm SO here for this color especially in combination with all the rich toned flakes. They look so gorgeous against each other to give-off a lot of depth and dimension. This is literally like Fall leaves hitting me in the face full-force... although not intended to be just happens to work out. The tone looks so good against my skin complexion, which doesn't happen often with greens for me. Definitely a huge must-have in my book because of this alone!

The formula has a really good opacity and builds-up easy for full coverage. It has a balanced consistency throughout, not too thick or too thin. Such a pleasant surprise since the finish has so much going on. Each brush stroke is absolutely flakie jam-packed and they disperse evenly across the nail with each coat. There is no clumping or lifting of the flakes during the application as well. It naturally dries down to a gritty finish, but does smooth out perfectly after a thick layer of topcoat. Also I experienced no staining on removal to either my cuticles or nail beds. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
