Hiya guys! It's been quite a hectic and long week, but I am hanging in there so far. Only one more day until I get released from the hospital and also one more day until Polish Pick Up. Is it a coincidence or consistency?! #Illuminati, haha. Seriously though I am so happy to get out and there is no better way of celebrating than with polish. For today I'm sharing swatches for Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish December contribution to the Polish Pickup Collaboration. As you might already know by now, this month the inspiration is Holiday's Around the World. Without further ado, let's see those swatches!

Light up Duval by Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish will be available for purchase through the Polish Pickup Shop Friday, December 1st at 11AM EST through December 4th. This full-size 15mL shade will retail for $11 each.

If you're not familiar with the concept, the Polish Pickup offers a fun, interactive experience that allows you to submit theme ideas, vote for your favorite theme, and selectively purchase your favorite polishes every month. As I mentioned before, the theme that was voted for December is Holiday's Around the World. For this month, Kristen found inspiration in a Christmas at Key West.

Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish - Light up Duval

Light up Duval can be described as a pale blue crelly with purple-pink-orange shifting contrast shimmer. Are you drooling or is it just me? Ha. This polish is an absolute stunner (my biased towards blues aside). The contrast of the shimmer against the blue is perfection. Not only does it give it a nice pop factor, but adds a flare of uniqueness to the hue. Plus it's a very flattering color against any skin-tone!

The formula has a very sheer application that applies similar to a jelly finish. It has flawless self-leveling and a great even build-up for full coverage. The consistency feels balanced throughout, not too thick or too thin. Such an amazing shimmer, way more than photos could capture. It dries down to a smooth high-shine finish. I experienced no staining on removal to either my cuticles or nail bed. Shown here in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
