Sassy Pants Polish - Funny Fruit Collection

Hiya guys! It's finally Friday and it's a fun, free weekend ahead of us, woohoo! I have a movie night I'm looking forward to tonight, and a lot of polish indulging because there are a lot of collections being released. One of which is the upcoming Funny Fruit Collection by Sassy Pants Polish! This is a seven-piece collection consisting of all different kinds of finishes and colors. It's a fruity rainbow made up on punny names and lots of sparkle!

The Funny Fruit Collection from Sassy Pants Polish will be releasing on June 12th at 2pm CST. Each polish will retail in a full-size (15mL) bottle for $12 and in mini (7.5mL) for $6. The complete full-size collection retails for $75 and the complete mini collection is $40. For a limited time, there will also be FREE (U.S.) SHIPPING with any order of $50 or more. International shipping has just been made available as well!

Sassy Pants Polish - Going Bananas

Going Bananas can be described as a pearl yellow shimmer with holographic micro-glitters and gold holo hex glitter. It's so increbily rare to find yellow polishes that suit my skin-tone so I was definitely shocked over this one. You might even say I went bananas for it... I guess I should have warned you of my pun-tentions throughout this collection. But seriously, this is a gorgeous yellow that is going to be the perfect shade for the summer. Formula has a fantastic and smooth application with ample hex glitters in each brush stroke. Shown here is two coats plus a glossy topcoat.

Sassy Pants Polish - Blue(berry) Balls

Blue(berry) Balls can be described as a royal blue shimmer linear and scattered holographic polish jam packed with holographic micro-glitters and blue hex glitters in various sizes. Of course it's a blue so that automatically means I'm in love with it. Really though, the finish has so much sparkle and shine it's a very captivating polish. The formula has a great consistency between thin and thick making for easy opaque layers. Due to the glittery nature of the polish, it will dry to a semi-gritty finish that needs topcoat in order to be smooth. Shown here is two coats plus a glossy topcoat.

Sassy Pants Polish - Limey Bastard

Limey Bastard can be described as a bright lime scattered holographic micro-glitter polish. Side note, ever since I swatched this polish I've been calling my husband a 'limey bastard', bwahaha. The formula has a jelly-like consistency and application so it's a tad bit on the sheer side. Even after three coats if you look hard enough you can slightly see a visible nail line. Shown here is three coats plus a glossy topcoat.

Sassy Pants Polish - Plum Crazy

Plum Crazy can be described as a plum holographic micro-glitter jelly base with violet and magenta holo glitters. This is another beauty that I can see being layered over a dark base for a different look. Great formula with this one as well. It starts off sheer, but manages to build up to a full finish. Shown here is three coats plus a glossy topcoat.

Sassy Pants Polish - Cherry Poppin’

Cherry Poppin' can be described as a cherry red jelly packed with red holographic hex glitter and a subtle blue shimmer. Is there really any words to describe this beauty?! I'll be honest, based on the bottle I was feeling a little bit iffy on the combination of the shimmer and larger glitters. But Angie managed to completely nail this and dropped the mic on the way out! Haha. The formula has a great smooth application with opaque layers. This builds up nicely on its own and manages to have plenty of glitter in each brush stroke. Shown here is two coats plus a glossy topcoat.

Sassy Pants Polish - One Bad Apple

One Bad Apple can be described as a sheer dark green jelly with UCC flakies and pale green medium hex matte glitters. This gorgeous green can also work as a topper over a dark base! The formula has a great consistency with ample glitter in each brush stroke. There was only a little bit of dabbing needed in order to spread out the larger hexes so they wouldn't clump together. Shown here is three coats plus a glossy topcoat.

Sassy Pants Polish - Nice Melons

Nice Melons can be described as a coral linear holo with red-gold micro flakies. This one may seem familiar as well and that's because it was a custom polish for Polish and Paws' blog-versary giveaway. Again, coral is another one of those shades where it's so hard for it not to clash against my skin-tone. Yet here we are and it's perfection! The formula runs a little on the thin and sheer side, so it needs a bit of building up for an opaque finish. But it's a smooth consistency and it builds up really nicely. Shown here is three coats plus a glossy topcoat.

Overall this may be the best collection from Sassy Pants Polish to date. Not only is it creative and cute, but it has powerhouse formulas to back it up. Throughout my review I tried to avoid saying 'my favorite' towards any of them because truth be told, this entire collection is a favorite of mine. If you have yet to try out this indie maker, then this is the collection you want to try. So in other words, it's time to pop your cherry and grab yourself a bottle of Cherry Poppin’. I tried to make that as clever as I could, I ran out of puns guys. But seriously, that is my top pick as summer must-have!

Which one if your favorite? Are you a fan of all the punny names throughout this collection?
