Hiya guys! I cannot believe we are mid-month already, actually no... more like end of the month. Time is flying and I need it to slow down. I'm over here still trying to get my hubs to set up my new nail area, haha. At this rate we might be into next year before we even have a chance to unbox things. Ah yes, we are the picture perfect couple for procrastination. Speaking of which... Today I'm sharing swatches for Threaten Me With Life by Lollipop Posse Lacquer. This shade was part of a 2016 Halloween Quad inspired by the Showtime series Penny Dreadful. Yup, 2016... That's how high my untried pile has gotten, haha. But I think we've waited long enough, so let's just head into the swatches!

Threaten Me With Life can be described as a multi-chrome linear holographic that shifts between blue, purple, copper, and green. Why did I wait so long to put this on?! I remember falling in love with this shade the instant I saw it, the clear stand out from the collection. Photos really can't truly do this shade any justice, the shimmery shifts are incredible. I'm still like in blogger training school when it comes to photographing color shifts, haha. If you look up swatches from other bloggers most captured the purple copper tone whilst I seemed to really nab the blue to green.
The formula has a sheer application that builds-up really well for even full coverage. It has a nice balanced consistency, not too thick or too thin. Such a dream to work with, literally a dream to work with. Definitely a shade you can grab in a hurry and just throw on. It dries down to a smooth high-shine finish on its own. I experienced no staining on removal to my nail beds or cuticles, which is always nice to know when it comes to a blue/teal shade. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Overall this is a mind-blowing stunning shade and I am so happy I was able to buy it when I did. I mentioned it before, but I remember this coming out and just knocking my socks off. Past Rose you did current Rose very proud, high-five. If you can grab this shade in a destash, don't think twice about it. You need it. It obviously holds up really well even after two years, haha. Sorry to tempt you guys with something that isn't available anymore! I have a feeling that's going to be the case a lot as I work my way through the untried pile. Hope you don't mind.
