Delush Polish Spring 2015 - Spring to Conclusions

Hiya guys, how's it going today? I cannot believe how quickly the month has gone by. We are almost in May! I have been so busy the last two months that my polish purchases has just been piling up unswatched. But I'll be slowly working through my pile eventually as I suffer through a no-buy for a month. Oh the horror, haha. On the top of my untried pile were these beautiful crelly polishes from Delush Polish's Spring 2015 Collection. I don't know why, but I only purchased three of the six and the regret is so real.

Delush Polish Spring 2015 - Spring to Conclusions

The Spring to Conclusions collection by Delush Polish consists of six crelly polishes and is still available for purchase. You can purchase each full size bottle for $8.95 or the entire collection for $48.00.

50 Shades of Yay

50 Shades of Yay is a white crelly filled with pastel glitters and neon pink hexes and large teal circle glitters. I feel like this is the ideal staple white crelly for spring, the glitter combination is insanely beautiful. It was sheer in the first coat, but evened out well with the second. The formula applied really well, though there was minor fishing needed for the large teal glitters. Swatched using three thin coats and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

An Offer You Can't Refuchsia

An Offer You Can't Refuchsia is a vibrant fuchsia jelly filled with red and blue glitters in various shapes and sizes. It's a serious glitter explosion that takes no prisoners! I absolutely love the bright shade, it's perfect for the summer as well. The formula was thick and a little tricky to work with because of the heavy glitters in each brush stroke. The easiest method I found was to apply the first layer normally and dab on the second. Swatched using two thin coats and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

A Peony For Your Thoughts

A Peony For Your Thoughts is a white crelly filled with bright pink and purple colored glitters in various sizes. This is a gorgeous polish and it looks so lush. Initially I thought this was going to be a little boring compared to the others, but it ended up being my favorite one among the three. Great formula and consistency, I had no issues applying each of the layers. There was no need for glitter fishing either. Swatched using three thin coats and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

Overall I'm extremely satisfied with my first purchase from Delush Polish and feel like kicking myself for not getting the full collection. The main appeal to me personally is the gorgeous color to glitter combinations. I can see the hints of spring time in each one, but they also come swinging with sassy bright spark. It's a lovely sight and a breathe of fresh air from the typical straight pastel this season. This collection definitely makes me look forward to what Delush Polish will have for us in the summer time.

So tell me guys, what's your favorite glitter to color combination you like to wear?

    1. I don't know if I love the name more or the polish, it's all just perfect! I'm definitely more prone to buying crelly polishes over anything else.

  4. A peony for your thoughts is subtle and pretty! Where can I get a job naming nail polish colors? I think I could really nail it.

    1. I have no idea, but that would make a really interesting job. There has got to be a need for it sometime from both indie and mainstream brands. OPI does clever naming like this too.

  7. Ohhhh eeeee look at those pretty spring colors and don't they look m.a.r.v.e.l.o.u.s. on you. I wish I could wear more colors than I do but some shades seem to make my hands look older. I've got to find the ones that make them look younger :).

    1. Sometimes I have that same issue too, I don't think yellow and orange are particularly kind to my hands. It's all about trial and error until you find your perfect shade.

  9. That white polish on the top left (with the baby blues pinks and light puprple) OMG I NEED that in my LIFE. Did you apply a base coat of white underneath or is that all that one colour? Um. Love it.

    1. It sucks when you have a job that doesn't allow you to wear polish, but I just mostly enjoy polishing on the weekend when I can wear it at least two days in a row.
