Hiya guys. It's finally time for the weekend and for some fun. I'm more than a little ready to relax some more and not think about work. So let's get right to it and dive right into some fun and polish! I have two polishes I'd like to show you today and these are from the Spring 2015 release from Signet Nails. Let's check them out.
Both polishes from Signet Nails Spring release are already available for purchase. These are sold individually and only in full sizes for $8.50 each.
Lapis Lazuli
Lapis Lazuli is a bright blue jelly polish filled with glitters and flakies. I cannot get over how strikingly beautiful the color is and how well it compliments my skin tone. The combination with the glitter and flakies give it a really unique feel and vibe. The formula and consistency were great, not too thick or too thin. I had no issues with the removal either as it did not stain my nails whatsoever. Swatched here is two thin coats and sealed in with Signet Nails own Gloss Topcoat.
Sunshine Strawberry
I was also sent their gloss topcoat for reviewing purposes, so I'll mention a few things I discovered while using it for a brief time. The topcoat is only offered as a variation to the matte graphite top coat, Dolph. It's currently not listed as a standalone item because it's merely meant as a quick solution to your top coat needs. Although it is shiny, I don't find the topcoat to give much of a lasting gloss. It's a thin formula as well which will not work well with glitter polishes. I did manage in my week of use to top off some nail art with it, for the most part it worked decently, However, there were some times it smeared my art. While I cannot recommend the top coat as a great item you'll need to have, I will say it will get you by in a pinch if you don't have an alternative to use.
Overall I'm really satisfied with my first experience with Signet Nails. Both of the shades here felt very unique and unlike anything in my collection, which says a whole lot since I own over a thousand polishes at this point. It's a shame about Sunshine Strawberry not wanting to work in the sunlight for me, but even knowing that I still love it because of that smooth formula. If you're in the market for trying something a little different, then check out Signet Nails. All polishes outside of their Spring collection have been marked down to only $5.00, it's a great time to grab something new. So tell me guys, which one of these did you like best?
Sunshine Strawberry is scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty in pink. It looks like one I would love to give a try. My Grandkids would like the darker one.
ReplyDeleteI love them! I just got my nails done today and went with a blue (and red on my accent nail)!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely swatches and your honest review. I hope to work with you again soon. Have an awesome weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe pink color reminds me of cotton candy in the summertime at the fair. AKA I love it.
ReplyDeleteSuch vibrant colors. I love that blue one. I could definitely see that on me. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThose are so pretty. I love that Sunshine Strawberry the best! Your nails look great!
ReplyDeleteI have a question, do you paint your nails every week? Lol, just curious but I really do love your designs and all.
ReplyDeleteThose colors are gorgeous!!! I really like the blue, and I'm not usually not a fan of blue nails.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful swatches! Lapis Lazuli is sooooo stunning, and the pink crelly glitter is great too. I haven't tried any of the solar changing polishes yet, but I also live in a generally cloudy place so it probably wouldn't work well for me either!
ReplyDeleteThat pink crelly though!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these shades! The blue seems to be glowing a bit, and the colors in the glitter are just adorable.
ReplyDeleteThat blue brings back some memories. My first real boyfriend in Jr. High had a thing for the color blue. I remember me and my friends went to the drugstore to get a birthday present for him (in those days, you could walk down the street into town without fear lol) and I ended up with this glittery blue nail polish because I really wanted to impress him. While that relationship didn't work (hahah) we remained friends for many, many years.
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty. I love both but that Sunshine strawberry is gorgeous. Even my girlies would love that on their nails!
ReplyDeleteLove the blue! Way cool...and I hope the sun comes out so you can play with your nails more ;)
ReplyDeleteI guess I didn't comment on this and totally thought that I had! Weird!
ReplyDeleteMy pick, by far, is the second one- it's awesome!! I love the dots and that's one I would want to sport all spring. It's perfect! :)
Both are super pretty. I thought I would like Lapis Lazul the best but Strawberry Sunshine steal the show for me.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, Lapis Lazuli is absolutely stunning!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like strawberry shortcake, my favorite dessert. I love the pink stone, glittery effect! That looks like a smooth coat it gives instead of being chunky. Love it!
ReplyDeleteSunshine Strawberry is perfect. <3
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are stunning
ReplyDeleteLapis is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove that Lapis Lazuli!
ReplyDeleteLapis lazuli is tops for me!!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap that blue is AMAZING
ReplyDeleteLapis Lazuli is amazeballs!!
ReplyDeleteThe blue is just stunning! I love bright blues like that one and the glitter is a great touch!
ReplyDeleteNice polishes, both are beautiful
ReplyDeleteYour nails are pretty. I think the lighter color is my favorite here, of the two, but I like them both.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful swatches, I love your macros!
ReplyDeleteSO pretty! I really love the blue polish!
ReplyDeleteSunshine Strawberry is so awesome! I just love the mix of colors and glitters. :)
ReplyDeleteThat cobalt is a beautiful color. I love the flecks of color and glitter. I need to grow my nails out!

I want those colours! They are gorgeous and I can not believe the pink changes colours! How cool is that.
ReplyDeleteLapis Lazuli is a gorgeous shade but something about the combo of glitters in it just doesn't quite do it for me. Great swatches though!
ReplyDeleteI can't decide which one I like more. They are awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love the sunshine strawberry. So pretty! I haven't tried blue nail polish yet. I would like to try though and see if it looks good on my nails. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis made me look down at my own fingers and realize I need a new coat, As Soon As Possible! The strawberry one is right up my alley I will take anything sparkly and pink!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that blue color! So fun!
ReplyDeleteThe pink is so much fun. My nails are in sad shape. This makes me feel like it's time for a manicure!
ReplyDeleteThese are both really pretty. That blue is so rich in colour!
